Ernesto and Turkano ran down the hill, approaching the group hurrying down the road.

It was an eerie sight.

It was a small field planted with miscellaneous vegetables. In the center of it, something that looked like a giant fern plant was growing. Leaves with soft hairs grew from the ground and spread out to cover the ground around it. And there were many hairy clumps wriggling in the field itself, connected to the main plant.

At first glance, the masses looked similar to a sheep.

It looked like the vines growing from the tips of the plant’s leaves were intertwined. And just like real sheep, the creature ate the crops in the fields.

「That what is this…? 」
