From that time on, he began to do the writing and accounting of everything in Kirchs himself, which would normally be left to contracted Mages. He put his father’s plays on display, provided entertainment to the people of the territory, sold alcohol and food, and collected admission fees to rebuild the country’s finances. He felt like a showman running the entire show on his own.
His father met his tragic end here. He said that tragedies repeat themselves, but he never thought that something like this would happen to him.
(I was planning on living a long, boring life.)
His father sought his ideals but couldn’t achieve them in this world, which was often the subject of his works. Yorgo prayed that his late father was now in his utopia.
(I don’t look for ideals in the next life. A book with endless blank pages would be fine for me.)
