Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 124
It was decided that Kazuki would help Arc with gathering the required Origin energy for not only his Granny master but also to travel to whichever Realm housed planet Earth. Those that wished to travel, of course, were everyone, except Shin but as the days went on, Triska and surprisingly enough Kimi helped to convince him.
She had heard before she was teleported to Gordonia that they were going to make more movies in the Harry Potter universe. This news was the deciding factor for Shin, otherwise, he would never step foot back on Earth.
Things though were not as simple as gathering energy and then traveling. Kazuki and the others all felt a responsibility to not only Gordonia but to the Realm itself. If they left it unprotected while they were away, the intruders might just destroy it in anger.
As the days passed on by, the Infuzer had been multiplied and now there were thousands of them. Each one producing Cosmic crystals nonstop. Danny and Sid also came up with a new and more efficient way to craft Cosmic metal. Instead of simply using a volcanic planet to keep the temperature of the newly formed metal up to temp, Danny based his operations near a star. In doing so he could heat up the metal much quicker and with the use of a few Titan Golems, they could hammer and forge the Cosmic metal with little oversight.
In this way, Cosmic metal was now being produced several times faster than before. It was still a slow process but compared to just Kazuki and Danny doing the work things did become more efficient. Sid who was looking forward to a heart of a star after Kazuki told him what it really was, he was somewhat disappointed but that changed when he began working on more Titan Golems.
At first, the Titan Golems were limited in what they could do but as Old Sid and Danny worked on them, their abilities expanded rapidly. Danny and Sid managed to make a Titan Golem that could automatically detect waves of power and aura. Danny got everyone to register their auras with the Titan Golems. In this way, if the Titan Golems detected someone that wasn’t a part of Kazuki’s group as well as Nevius, at that time several Titan Golems would go into either hunter mode or containment mode.
The Titan Golems were made to ignore anyone with an aura at the 6th stage and below, this way they would not activate on just anyone that had an aura. Kazuki did warn a few Ancient beasts and the last handful of actual titans that remained on Gordonia about what would entail for them if they chose to go wild.
The way Danny and Sid crafted these Golems, they made it so that they would continuously patrol a certain area of the Realm in case of intruders. The protection of the Realm was basically guaranteed unless some crazy shit happened.
That in itself though was almost an impossibility as Danny planned their movements along with Kazuki and King Brian in a strategic way that the three agreed on. There were measures and countermeasures and countermeasures for those countermeasures. It was kind of ridiculous and overkill the amount of planning the three put in but they were taking no chances. Better safe than sorry. With Danny’s logical thoughts along with his ability to think ahead by several steps, King Brian’s well-thought strategies, and Kazuki’s clever cunning ideas and the ability to think outside of the box, there was little they had not come up with.
With the defense at this level, there needed to be someone to oversee it just in case. That as well fell into King Brian’s lap. The moment Kazuki and everyone else left, King Brian would hold the highest authority in the entire Realm.
No one feared him holding the power and control over the Titan Golems as he was trustworthy. Even if he wasn’t though, both Kazuki and Danny had also come up with other plans in case he got greedy.
With planning and implementation done, Kazuki focused most of his attention on helping Arc collect more Origin energy throughout the Realm. At the same time, he made several new worlds and created near-perfect environments for the billions of creatures. Kazuki found that some of the stars that held the most Origin energy in their center were actually stars that supported vast amounts of life in their surroundings solar systems.
Kazuki would make new worlds and collect all of the living creatures from the nearby worlds along with all of the plants and other fauna and establish a new place for them to live in his worlds. Afterward, he would absorb the star’s energy and Arc would absorb the Origin energy. Things worked out well like this until Kazuki found the growth of his strength and soul waining tremendously.
It seemed he had found the upper limit of his soul. He would grow no more until he fixed one of the last two fractures of his soul and eventually he would need to fix the third one as well.
Kazuki returned to Nevius’s world.
Now that his power was greater than ever before, he could now find Nevius and his world but Kazuki was no fool. He knew that Nevius was actually allowing this. Nevius had mysterious powers and one of them was the ability to hide and camouflage not only himself but his entire world and a small region of space.
If Nevius wished to, he could take his world and his family and flee to another Realm but Nevius was a man of his word. That or he understood that there was no place he could hide, no Realm he could escape to so long as Kazuki had Arc with him. With Arc’s ability to track seemingly anything in any Realm as long as it had enough energy, Arc would be able to find Nevius no matter what.
Kazuki and Arc arrived in a small section of space. Everything looked completely normal but now that he was directly in this section of space, he could feel that something was slightly off. If he were not directly in it, Kazuki was unsure if he would be able to tell the difference.
The moment he arrived, a familiar yet jovial voice arose within his mind.
(Kazuki, welcome welcome, come in please!)
A small hole opened up and on the other side, a beautiful yet strange world could be seen.
Kazuki accepted the invitation and with a single step his body flashed forward and he descended to the surface of this hidden world in an instant.
He landed like a feather and arrived a few feet away from a small wooden cabin. The house had been recently been built. As soon as he touched down, the wooden door burst open and a small child jumped into Kazuki’s arms.
“KAZUKI’S HERE!”
Kazuki was taken aback. This was Nevius’s child. He had only seen her alive once and that was but for a moment before he decided to take his leave as the moment was a reunion and he didn’t want to interfere. He didn’t even know her name yet she was jumping in his arms as she had known him for many years.
Kazuki casually pat her on the head.
“Um, hello young lady. Is your father in?”
The young girl looked up at Kazuki and immediately began to pout.
“You see, this is what I’m talking about dad, Kazuki as well sees me as a child, this is messed up.”
The girl then ran toward a long field of grass off to the side and barely a second later Nevius and a lovely woman came outside. Nevius as usual was starting to apologize.
“Sorry Kazuki, she’s having a weird time adjusting. It’s nothing against you. Please forgive her.”
Nevius barely got this sentence out when an elbow hit him in the side and pushed him out of the way as the woman introduced herself.
“Hello, Kazuki. I’m called Trilia. I can never find a way to thank you properly for everything you’ve done for my family but I will try my best if you give me a chance. Oh, and don’t listen to my husband’s nonsense. It’s not adjusting, that Nara is dealing with, it’s the fact that her body isn’t right.”
Kazuki peeked around Trilia and gave Nevius a quizzical look.
“Nevius, it seems your wife has more spine than you, and what is this about the child’s body not being right?”
Kazuki looked back at Trilia and shook her hand.
“There’s no reason for you to repay me. Arc did the heavy lifting so to speak. Thank it not me.”
Trilia liked Kazuki’s upfront attitude right away and escorted him inside.
“Come have some tea with me. Even if you don’t take all the credit, it’s true that you and Arc are bound together. I thank you Arc and Kazuki, you Will still be thanked whether you like it or not, now come inside already.”
Trilia and Kazuki went inside while Nevius just sighed with a big grin before following in after them.
