Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 143

Grandmaster Chul hung up the phone just as Kimi and her parents walked in.

“Father, what did the president want? Is it China again?”

Grandmaster Chul shook his head before looking at his granddaughter.

“Kimi, it seems you and your friends really did make an entrance. I explained to the president that one of the beings that appeared out of nowhere was actually my grandaughter and the rest you said were friends. After that, he calmed down a bit but the situation isn’t over and tensions are high across the world.”

“Grandfather, since you have connections, maybe you should also call the U.S and tell them about me and my friends. We don’t want to cause any trouble.”

Grandmaster Chul sighed.

*Haa*

“I’m afraid it’s already too late for that. The leaders around the world have already sent out their strongest. They want to see it firsthand and have it handled before anything really breaks out. The President wanted me to investigate you as well before he found out you were my granddaughter.”

“Me?”

“Yes, you don’t realize it but this is serious. The way you landed, you came flying in faster than any known missile. Not just you but your friends as well. It sent off alarms all over the planet. They need to know what they are dealing with and have acted accordingly. They have sent their champions to Japan as that is where the majority of your friends went. If you and your friends really have no intention of causing trouble, first things first are they need to submit themselves to the world governments and be formally registered and absorbed into their respective countries. They will need to dot his without a fight. Any sign of resistance will be seen as a threat and the champions will act against your friends.”

Kimi smiled hearing this. She wasn’t there to start trouble but this was getting more and more laughable. She wondered how the world would react once it’s known how strong they really are.

Grandmaster Chul was not smiling though and he was genuinely worried for his granddaughter.

“Kimi I know you said you are strong and so are your friends but things are getting complicated and are accelerating. We need to head to Japan before things escalate any further. I would like to talk to your friends and bring them in safely.”

“Grandpa, you really are worrying far too much. I guess words won’t explain it though. I showed you a small part of my abilities but even that won’t convince you so I’ll just show you, my friend. Afterward, you’ll find this whole thing funny.”

Gradnmaster Chul gave a nod.

“Fine, either way, let’s head to Japan and get this done. I don’t want any bloodshed. Lee, is the Jet ready?”

The head guard nodded.

“Sir, it’s fueled and the pilot is already on board and waiting. Shall we head over now or

“Grandpa have you already forgotten I can get you there in no time?”

Master Chul smiled.

“I guess I’m still processing things. Your right, Lee cancel the flight, my granddaughter will be taking me, heh, sounds odd but I don’t hate it. Shall we?”

—————————————————————————-

A little earlier, Kazuki as well as Alutra, Detra, Lin, and a young woman walked into the lobby of a large building. The second they walked in, Kazuki sent a wave of ki to the highest floor.

The young woman walking beside Kazuki was looking around in curiosity.

“Amazing, this new body you gave me has allowed my ki to expand and develop at a frightening level. I can sense not only everyone in this building but everyone on this entire block. It’s as if all of their lives are in the palm of my hand. Is this how you always feel disciple?”

Kazuki gave a nod.

“More or less master. My range though is slightly bigger. Besides your senses, how does your body feel master?”

Maya smiled as she opened and closed her hand several times.

“You used one of my hairs lying around that dusty old dojo yet my body is so young. When you said you could revive me, I thought you meant bringing my old bones back to life but this body you made is one in its mid-twenties. My strength has never been greater.”

Kazuki laughed inwardly. He had taken a hair from an old hair brush that belonged to his granny master. Recreating her body from alchemy and magic was simple after that. Making a body in its twenties was even simpler. He thought just maybe she would be thrilled that she was younger because of her looks but instead she only cared about how strong she was. She didn’t give a shit about if she was a looker or not.

As Maya was sensing all the life around her, Lin, Alutra, and Detra were admiring the architecture. They had never seen a building this tall. It was several hundred feet in the air and it was covered in windows. They of course could recreate this with magic but when Kazuki told them this was done with simple labor, they were astonished.

After they walked in, a security guard nearby saw their strange outfits and the fact that they were all much taller than the average Asian person and the guard figured they didn’t belong here.

“Excuse me ladies and gentlemen but can I help you? If you don’t have a key card or if you aren’t here for a meeting, then this place isn’t for you. If you would kindly leave back through the front entrance and be on your way.”

The guard was nice enough but he also stood firm with his back straight. He was posturing for some reason. Everyone looked at Kazuki since he was the one who led them there. Kazuki though had no intention of leaving.

“I’m here for your boss, tell him his boss is here.”

The guard raised a brow.

“Ok, sir now I know you don’t belong here. The CEO isn’t interested in games or time wasters. He has no boss, so last time please leave before I’m forced to escort you out of here.”

Just after this guard said this, the phone at the front desk began to ring and the receptionist picked it up casually. Half a second later the receptionist ran out from behind the front desk and got in front of the guard. Ignoring the guard the receptionist bowed to Kazuki.

“Sir, forgive this man’s rudeness, the president knows you have arrived and is already sending down someone to receive you.”

The guard was dumbfounded and didn’t know what to say.

*Ding*

An elevator 15 feet away opened and a thin man in his mid-forties, wearing a suit and glasses walked over and bowed as well while showing the way.

“Master Kazuki, it has been a while. The president sent me down to personally welcome you. he would have come down himself but you have made him quite busy over the last few years.”

Kazuki smirked.

“Hmm, did I give him too much to do while I was away?”

The man quickly realized his mistake and was about to apologize but Kazuki started laughing.

“Executive Soo, I was just messing around. Lead the way.”

Executive Soo looked slightly bewildered before his professionalism came out. Straightening his tie, he calmly turned around and showed the way to the elevator.

Everyone was staring at Kazuki wondering who he was for the second in command to personally come down to bring him up to see the president. Alutra and the rest of them as well.

Stepping on the elevator, they had a million questions for him. Some of them wondered about how the elevator worked but most of the questions were about what was going on. Even Maya didn’t know what her disciple was up to.

Kazuki calmly explained a few things.

“Before I left and right after you died Master, I was lost for a while. Eventually, I started finding my way. Fiding the Ancient hand symbols were not my first stop. I found gems, crystals, and other things first in a museum and found that there was still a small amount of magic in this world. In order to aquire these magical items, I could steal them but at that time that would have led to my downfall. I needed a large source of income in order to buy these items as well as find more and clues to other things that had magical energy. So I helped the man in charge of this place from this private security company.”

Alutra was curious.

“Security?”

Kazuki nodded.

“I had a strong body and could use ki, there were lots of things I could do to earn a living but at the same time, it was limited if that makes sense. At first, I was a bodyguard for gangsters and other high-profile clients. Eventually, it led to this company. I don’t run it, I simply helped get it up and running. Because of that half of it is technically mine. With this company, I was able to traverse the world and acquire things I needed.”

*Ding*

The doors opened and the group walked out into a large hall. On both sides, the hall was lined up with dozens of bodyguards. Each one in black suits with earpieces. Some of them who had been there since the beginning recognized Kazuki immediately and they were stunned though they didn’t show it as they were among the best in the business. Kazuki could tell though, inside they were absolutely shocked.

A large pair of doors at the end of the hallway flung open and a large man came flying out with a kick.

“KAZUKI! YOU BASTARD!”
