Asuna fell on the bed and passed out. Just before her flaming wings lit the place on fire, Kazuki wrapped her draconic flames in a layer of aura and snuffed them out.
(So they both have a new ability. Since they both are made from elf and dragon, they seem to have gotten special qualities along with unique abilities. Nunully sprouted wings made from ice. Her soul still contained her Mage core which holds the element of ice but Asuna never possessed the element of fire. Since she received blood from Bozek, it seems she inherited the element of fire from him as well.)
Kazuki sent some of his aura into Asuna’s soul world to take a look and sure enough, inside of her soul world sat her Mage core. Instead of just a core colored in a deep purple, there was now a mixture of orangish-red tangled within it. The element of space flowing and rotating with the element of fire deep inside her Mage core.
(Interesting. I wonder if Zephris did this on purpose or if he himself even noticed this in the first place. Either way, this is an added benefit. Once she learns to control fire, she will have a new advantage, a new tool in her arsenal, so to speak.)
Kazuki then checked on Nunully. If Asuna inherited a new element, then maybe Nunully did as well, or so he thought. Taking a look inside her core, it remained the same—well, not exactly the same. Her original blue core was now even darker than ever. Not only that, the element of water coming from her core was purer now than ever before. The force within her was strengthened. Since her human half was now replaced with dragon, her power and efficiency went up like crazy.
Kazuki looked over the two and really took in the changes in their bodies. He looked at their pointed ears and smiled.

Kazuki took a sniff and decided they couldn’t sleep like this. Using his aura, he lifted the two up, and with a thought, a few Golems within the mansion began to move. Kazuki left the room with Asuna and Nunully in tow, while two Golems soon entered. Right away, they began to clean the place while also opening a window to air the place out.
Meanwhile, Kazuki carried both Asuna and Nunully to a large bath. A bath was what it was but its size was comparable to a shallow but wide pool. Glacious liked something a little more traditional, so the inside of this bath was more like an outdoor bathhouse. Large rocks lined the outside, and there were several different plants growing alongside the bath. A Golem was already inside and was heating the waters while another poured many different kinds of natural bath salts and petals from a few different flowers.
The large bath and the surrounding area were filled with a refreshing scent. Kazuki soon entered the bath with the two and began to clean their bodies. Very soon, the two woke up but were too tired to move. Instead, they laid on Kazuki’s chest and stayed there lazily as he bathed them. After everything they had just experienced, having this bath that was set at the perfect temperature as they let someone else take care of them was exactly what they needed.
Asuna began gently kissing Kazuki’s chest while Nuunully made out with him. Each kiss was soft and tender. Not because they were specifically trying to be gentle but rather because they simply had no more energy to go wild.

Kazuki then left the room for a bit. He would have laid down with them but he was still energetic. Being at the 7th stage, he no longer needed things such as sleep or food and water. He didn’t even need air to breathe or really anything a normal human needed to live on. He wondered if Danny felt kind of like this while he was stuck inside of his soul world and even when he was inside of the body old Sid had created. Not needing such things was an odd feeling, to say the least.
(Even if I no longer need these things, I won’t simply throw them away. Pure cold water is still delicious and food is still tasty. Taking in a breath of fresh air is refreshing. To give them up would be to deny myself of these simple pleasures, these same pleasures that to a regular person is something they must have in order to live. For me to give them up, it would feel like I’m directly throwing away the last bit of my humanity.)
Kazuki didn’t want to throw away his humanity. Maybe that was a bit dramatic but to him, it truly felt like that.
(Is this why Titans and Gods are so cold, are so monstrous? The things they need and the things other creatures need are like the difference between the world and the sky. Because they need nothing, they are above all, and that gives them a sense of authority and power. Maybe that’s not right, but it feels pretty close to their train of thought. They don’t know suffering the way mortals do. They don’t know what it means to have a throat so dry that it burns. A stomach so empty that it feels as if your insides are twisting into a knot. Because people understand this suffering, we value life to a certain extent, but Gods and Titans, they only value their own lives. If I become like them, if I throw away such things, would I not become even colder? Would I not become like them? I can’t do that, rather, I mustn’t allow myself to be corrupted in such a way where I no longer value the lives of others.)
Kazuki thought about Detra’s suggestion of devouring many worlds in this Lower Realm so he could grow even stronger. When she first suggested it, his very first thought was about how strong he could become and the thrilling feeling that followed. A sense of guilt came immediately after. Kazuki now realized what these two separate thoughts were. Maybe one was the power side of him, the side that was becoming more and more like a God, while the other side was his humanity. One side was cold and the other warm.
(I will not toss away my humanity but at the same time, I must grow stronger until nothing from the outside can touch me or any I care about. When I have a strength that can destroy Sephra without consequences, that is when I will have reached a truly untouchable state.)
Kazuki slowly made his way through the many halls until he somehow found himself in front of Glacious’s old room. He wasn’t purposefully walking here but his busying mind ended up leading him here. Curiously he reached for the handle and was about to grab it when he shook his head.
(What am I doing? I should join Asuna and Nunully. Even if I don’t sleep, it might be nice to just lay there with their warmth.)
Kazuki was about to turn and leave when he heard something.

There was noise coming from Glacious’s room. Kazuki tried to sense into the room but Glacious had many inscriptions that even now could block Kazuki from peering in. Kazuki’s guard rose and he began to gather his magic as he threw the door open and rushed inside.
