Even though the soul weapon was no more, Kazuki still thought about it.
(For the smoke creature to avoid detection, it tried to remain dormant inside the soul weapon, but it was that nonaction that gave itself away. Alutra said the soul fragments within were similar to the fragments left behind in Magical beast cores in the way that they will detonate due to the lingering hatred within. Because the soul weapon didn’t explode, Alutra just managed to pick up on this.)
“Alutra, that smoke creature, it should have had a chance to escape earlier or even try and do something with Fera’s corpse since it was in the range of my ring. Why do you think it waited?”
Alutra thought about it and came to a simple conclusion.
“It was too weak to do much of anything. You should have realized when it attacked that final time and almost hit us all. The Realm remained intact, no, not just intact, there was barely even any force behind its last attack. When it was caught in the lightning, you and Danny destroyed its entire body and severely injured its original soul within its body. Just before its soul was fully destroyed it traded places with its fragment within the soul weapon. To unfuse one’s soul fragment from their weapon is a great burden and undertaking. That must have weakened its strength that much further.”
From this Kazuki could conclude a few things.
“With its power so far gone, it would have been on the chopping block if it were to be discovered. For it to not make a single move until it was discovered, it was truly desperate. It must have wanted to bide time and slowly recover its power before trying to make its escape, or possibly even try and steal Fera’s corpse from me and then escape.”
Alutra tended to agree.
“Lying in wait, and with its energy that low, it must have thought it would slip by, go unnoticed. It thought us to be stupid, well it’s not that strange. In these Lower Realms, Demigods are rare, and Divine Soul weapons are that much rarer. Knowledge about Soul weapons is not common in these Realms. So even though I myself am a Demigod, the smoke creature was most likely hoping that I had become a Demigod recently and not knowing about souls within soul weapons. How utterly foolish, heh.”
Alutra smirked before gently rubbing Kosaru’s little head before she added.
“It might even have thought that I thought the soul fragment within was far too damaged to do anything. This could have been a possibility and it’s not that far off from what I felt earlier, but it made a fatal flaw.”
Kazuki’s ears perked up.
“What flaw?”
“The moment you mentioned Fera’s corpse, for the briefest of seconds, the divine energy within moved by a small fraction. This tiny, seemingly insignificant movement told me all I needed to know. It the soul within really was that damaged, there would be no way any of the energy within would move so long after the battle. We would have seen this movement directly after the fight and not later as these side effects follow right after, not when things have cooled down. The soul of the smoke creature was far too greedy and because of this greed, it could not contain its emotions and gave itself away. Such dumb, thoughtless behavior; you were 10,000 years too early, hehehe.”
Shaila and the other Ancient beasts were impressed.
“So is everyone in your bloodline this talented Kazuki or what?”
Kazuki honestly didn’t know and could only shrug, but Alutra suddenly became annoyed.
“Those bastards can’t see beyond their own asses. Almost every one of them is selfish and self-involved. Because of this, talents are seen with envy and tend to get pushed to the bottom, plotted against. Just like Kazuki’s fa.”
Alutra paused there before she shook the negative thoughts away and remembered how Kazuki did not wish to know things about his father.
“Sorry, Kazuki. I won’t mention those things anymore.”
Tozu as well took Shaila by the hand, and the two walked away before things got even more awkward.
Kazuki couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. The mention of his father, he didn’t need any of these thoughts clouding his mind, weighing heavy and distracting him. All of that was long ago. He felt it would be better to leave it alone and let the past stay buried.
Mei could see something was bothering him and came over and pat him on the head. With a great big childish smile, she continued to pat her. Kazuki sighed once more before grabbing Mei and tossing her dozens of miles up into the sky in a single toss. Everyone there was a little shocked at first but as she came flying down she was laughing hysterically with glee and then he caught her.
“Again, I want to do that again big bro!”
Kazuki rubbed her head, ruffling her hair.
“You can already fly much higher than that and move even faster, why do you want me to toss you again?”
Mei smiled again.
“It’s fun to fly all over the sky but when Big bro does it, I don’t know it’s somehow better. It’s like when mama makes me food. I’m a big girl now and can make my own food but Mama’s is just better. It’s comforting somehow.”
Kazuki shook his head, he couldn’t argue with that logic.
“How about instead of just getting tossed in the air, we do something even funner?”
Mei’s big eyes seemed to get bigger.
“Big bros gonna play with me? It’s been forever; hurry hurry hurry let’s play already!”
“Hmm, should I?”
Kazuki began teasing her but Mei wasn’t having it.
“You already said you would. Mama said that a man who can’t keep his word is no good and should not be trusted. Big bro, you’re not like that, are you?”
This time, it was Mei who was teasing.
“Hey, when did I ever say I’d play with you, I just asked if you wanted to. I didn’t actually say I would, though.”
Asuna and Nunully wanted to get in on this, and they asked as well. After that, the four of them went off to have a little fun. Kazuki knew Mei was a little flying maniac so he built an obstacle course in the air with magic. He simply made floating rings that moved to and fro around Glacious’s world along with a few other obstacles.
Some of the rings he made were incredibly large to allow her full Mangshi form to fly through them, these rings were bigger than mountains. At the same time, he made tiny rings, ones the size of a horse-drawn cart and then he made a few medium-sized ones. In this way, Mei would have to control the size of her body and transform, shrinking and enlarging at random.
He made this a fun race and she ate it up. Not just her but the others soon joined as well. Most of them hadn’t heard of such a concept and found it to be rather interesting. Soon it became a competition and most of them competed with one another. Kazuki found some problems but he quickly fixed and modified them.
He made some of the rings move and others were completely stationary. Some were made of harder material while others were incredibly brittle. He did this so you had to be more careful while passing through them. running into them would break them and cost you points. Flying towards them would create fast gales of wind and that as well would cause the rings to crumble. One had to maneuver and slow down way down. He did this because of course some were much faster than others. Adding and modifying these rings in such a way made things fairer.
In the end, though a clear victor came out almost every time.
Little Kosaru jumped up and down cheering with its little prize. Kazuki just gave it some grapes or other yummy fruit but Kosaru loved it and even rubbed its little furry head on Kazuki.
Kazuki was still suspicious of the little thing but he wasn’t an asshole to Kosaru and gave it a few pats on the head.
Mei pouted at first but Kosaru ran over and shared some of his food with her which of course won her favor and the two instantly became friends.
Kosaru’s voice came through to everyone’s mind. It could only say a few words and the rest seemed to come through as certain feelings. It knew how to communicate hunger and could ask for help and other basic things. Its voice sounded similar to a toddler in one’s head. This of course made the ladies fall even more in love with it.
With the day gone, the artificial sun faded and a moon took its place. A calm came over this tiyn world and with it, the day passed into the night. Everyone went their separate ways. Mei and Kosaru played for so long that the two passed out and slept peacefully with one another. Alutra went to her own room and Sasai to his. A knowing look spread around the room as everyone knew what came next.
Kim grabbed Sam’s arm and dragged him to their room while Tsura and Danny shyly, yet calmly took each other by the hand and walked silently to their room. Lamia was annoyed seeing these couples and went off to her own room, stomping along the way. Shin and Triska disappeared and a gust of wind was sent flying down the hallway followed by a door slamming shut.
Tozu scooped Shaila up off her feet and they went to their own room as well.
Last but not least, Nunully and Asuna had bright red faces, but neither of them left to their own separate rooms. Instead with their own courage, they stood up and both took one of Kazuki’s arms before personally escorting him down the hall. Neither one said anything, and they walked in silence the entire time but of course, their hearts were racing.
Kazuki could hear these loud thumping heartbeats giving away Asuna and Nunully but still, they said nothing. They knew he could hear them and they knew that him not stopping them meant he wanted to do this as well which only made their hearts thump louder and louder.
They came to the door, and the both of them couldn’t help but stop as they were still very nervous. They had already done the deed, and just the thought of it happening again caused a warmth to spread through them, along with a slight wetness in their panties.
Kazuki wanted to tease them again but he as well was more than ready for action. He waited no more. His door swung open and he walked through. The door suddenly swinging open caused the two ladies to realize what they were about to do again, and their hearts pounded harder and harder.
“Kazuki, are…are we going to do that again?”
Kazuki took Nunully into his embrace and kissed her deeply. His tongue and hers entangled as he played with her. His hand slid down her back. His aura tore away at her clothes, exposing her lower half before two of his fingers entered her tight, wet pussy. The excitement was too much and Nunully almost came just from this before Kazuki pulled his lips away from hers and whispered in her ear.
“What do you think?”
Nunully’s knees grew weak, and she staggered, but Kazuki would not let her fall, at least not onto the ground. The very next moment, Kazuki pulled in Asuna and kissed her as well before taking the two to the bed and shutting the door.
