Return of the Fallen Volume 12 Chapter 70
(In order for me to reach Divine Enlightenment, according to the memories of these Gods, I must master something. No, not just master it. I have to go beyond all limits with it.)
This was something one could not simply duplicate and attain the exact same results. Even if he had the memories of a God and all of their experiences as well, at the end of the day these were still someone else’s experiences. Their bodies, mindsets, thoughts, and senses were all different than Kazuki’s. So even if he followed the exact same path as these Gods, the end product would not be the same.
Although this was the case, it still could bear fruit in some sense. Achieving mastery in something related to magic or combat, Kazuki could find many ways to apply them to his own style of fighting if he so chooses. Besides combat, there were other uses he could gain by absorbing these memories. Even if the path was slightly different for him. He could use these Gods as a template or a guide. Not something he had to stick to 100% but at the very least their lives could be an outline for his future progress.
While his soldiers were undergoing training in his small world, Kazuki was busy in his own soul world learning and growing his mind and soul. He processed their memories and in doing so he became better in several spots. His skills in craftsmanship grew rapidly. He was like a masterful artist when it came to shaping materials. Each tool he crafted, each inscription he laid and etched was like his very own masterpiece.
Kazuki was already at a level many could not touch when it came to inscriptions thanks op part to his own comprehension as well as Arc relaying an astronomical amount of knowledge to him. After absorbing even more memories from his soldiers, he entered a whole new level.
His efficiency grew and his mistakes became less and less. While part of his mind was inside his soul world learning and experimenting constantly. Another part of his mind was building things without delay and another part was testing out all the different materials he had bought up in the market.
From the memories of these slave soldiers, he had learned about all the different materials that were completely new to him. He understood new metals and stones top down. Precious gems and potions. His alchemical skill also grew as he experimented. Thanks to the time differential inside his Soul world, he could theorize to a terrifying degree and map out the many flaws and simulate what he could expect from certain experiments.
In this way, he could skip over certain inklings that lead down the wrong path while at the same time keeping the correct results. This did not mean he did no testing with actual objects, rather he took a different focus and concentrated more heavily on probability and put his attention towards whatever would most likely lead to the right conclusion.
With a thought, Kazuki’s power flowed out in waves. Inside Arc’s inner space, the amount of actual room was far different than any other subspace he knew of. With a thought, Kazuki created a brand new tiny world inside of Arc. This planet, were it to be unsealed with space magic, it would be a few times bigger than your average-sized star. If the size alone didn’t deter you from mistaking it for a normal world, then the material it was made of surely would.
A type of gem concentrated from space, fire, and water. This gem was not something one could buy in the market, rather it was the evolved version of it. In the market, it was slightly uncommon and was called a Zetrine gem. Found deep beneath the surface of a few worlds. It can only be mined by Gods due to the fact that the environment beneath some of these worlds is extremely volatile.
The gem itself contains the base elements of fire and water. Holding up one of these Gems Kazuki smirked.
(To think a Gem like this was being used as a control device in a magic tool meant to manipulate the temperature in a stove.)
Kazuki said this jokingly but it was a fact. this Zetrine gem was used mainly for cooking. There were many Gods who even though they no longer needed to eat food for nourishment still enjoyed the taste and feeling of consuming delicious foods and alcohol. They would use these gems for that sole purpose.
Kazuki on the other hand found a different use for them. Though if these Gods were to witness what he used them for or rather the evolved form of this gem, they may call him insane, or more likely foolish until they knew what he was doing.
Kazuki managed to apply the element of space to these Zetrine gems evolving them into an easy-to-remember name Space Zetrine gems. He made an entire world out of these Gems for the purpose of controlling space and temperature. With many magic inscriptions, he added the effect of gravity allowing him to manipulate the pressure of objects on this small world.
With this small world made of Space Zetrine gems, it allowed him to focus more on crafting and allowed his experiments to grow further, faster. He could not add the power of time to this place as he wished but due to everything he did add, this world allowed him to reduce the time to complete certain projects by half the time or more depending.
He wished he had learned more about the Infinity blades before they got destroyed since they had fragments of time magic hidden within them but it just wasn’t meant to be.
What was the point of all these experiments and crafting? Kazuki knew that as long as he wasn’t a God himself, winning by himself was an impossible dream. Even if he were a God, that did not mean he was invincible. He would still be going up against millions of Gods under the Crescent Knight banner. With the shadow commanding them, he could throw a terrifying army at him. Not just the shadow but there was still his adoptive mother Sephra.
She belonged to a powerful family and had connections with Kauzki’s grandfather who owned part of a Starpath. Going at it all alone, was a fool’s errand. He needed more, he needed people on his side and they would need weapons and armor. Things these Realms have never seen before. Things that would overwhelm the enemy. Something that could crush them beneath his boot.
He had knowledge greater than most and he now had the resources at hand to rattle the cage of what was the Higher Realms.
Kazuki didn’t stop with this world but made hundreds and then thousands. One by one he began making weapons, armor, and Vajra ships. Many many ships. Not only did he make Vajra ships but these were different than any he’d ever seen. Many ships relied on Divine Crystals to fuel them. Because of this, once a ship ran out of Divine Crystals it would become dead in the water…or rather dead in the air.
Its barriers would collapse and it could no longer fly away to safety. Yes, it could still hover just by taking in the surrounding energy but eventually, even that would dry up on a battlefield and the ship could only fall out of the sky at that point or be destroyed by others. Kazuki also learned a personal lesson about being trapped inside barriers. His biggest advantage over an average God was his access to the Chaotic energy inside of Chaotic space.
Once he’s inside of a person or city barrier, he can no longer access the powerful energy inside of Chaotic space. He honestly didn’t have a real solution to that problem yet and focused on his defenses and escape tactics. That was for him personally the best option.
As for the ships he produced, they would all level up to a force unseen in these Realms.
Kazuki thought about his last real battle with Vajra ships. The way he torpedoed them into Gods. That was a costly tactic but he no longer needed to care about wealth.
He smiled with a devilish grin as he thought about his next encounter.
He began pumping out one ship after another. 100 ships became a thousand and a thousand became ten thousand and so on. Kazuki didn’t stop there though, he also began making more and more Golems. He thought he was done with them after leaving the Lower Realms but during his fight with the shadow. The tiny horse toy Golem he made for the fake Lana came in clutch and seized the shadows Mind stone for him.
Combat was one thing, and they could be really effective in that way but combat was only one aspect. The thoughts and ideas rolling into Kazuki’s mind caused him to smile like a freak.
(The future is no longer so dark and bleak. My enemies…all of you will fall.)
