The entire world shook from the culmination and impacting powers of the Shrieker Kings against Mefius and his brothers.
Several hundred feet of dirt, rock, and other debris rose into the sky and fell back down all around. Several cyclones, hundreds of miles in diameter, were created from the after-effects and were sent flying in all directions.
Verick had done everything he possibly could to try and save his fellow Gerian’s but in the end, he could not protect them and himself simultaneously. Man, woman, Gerian or shrieker, all of them had been completely destroyed the moment of their arrival.
Verick was devastated and felt a hollowness in his chest. His eyes then darted in every direction as he looked for someone. Finally, his gaze landed well over a thousand miles away, where Kazuki and Runa had retreated to.
