Kazuki had just thrown Mefius’s own logic right back in his face.
“You dare mock me, little human!”
Kazuki no longer had any fear at all. He was overflowing with power from head to toe. With a smirk, he spoke.
“Yes, this little human dares mock you. Now what?”
Mefius was about to make a move when the world once more went still. The two did not know when or how but the two both caught something out of the corner of their eye.
A creature had appeared. No more than that a supreme figure.
They had both just gained tremendous power yet neither was aware of just when exactly this person had arrived.
Kazuki felt as if his heart had stopped. His breath froze and he felt a familiar pressure and quickly recognized who this person was.
“The Primordial one.”
