A streak of light appeared in the distance and was racing toward Retsu.
(Mei and Kosaru are on their way back.)
Retsu was a little annoyed. He was aware of the danger Belux brought and what those risks entailed. That he could accept, but he never imagined the danger would not come from Belux but rather from the strange time phenomenon he had just encountered in the bone cave.
Seeing Kosaru and Mei approaching from the distance, he knew they had a safe little trip while he was nearly killed. He wished Kosaru had given him at least a little warning; whether that was fair or not was not the question.
