Raqnar looked at Kazuki and could see the turmoil brewing inside before he sighed.
“I know what you’re thinking Kazuki. Going to Belux will only get you killed, and there’s no possible way to save those two. Give up on rescuing them; their fates are sealed.”
These words were harsh, like grating metal to the ear but Raqnar knew Kazuki needed to hear this.
Kazuki wished to leave immediately. Mei and Kosaru were still out there.
“I cannot leave my family to eternal torment. I…I just can’t do it. If you don’t wish to trade with me, fine, if you don’t wish to fight Belux and save the universe, fine; but I will not sit around and do nothing. Even if I die, at least by turning myself over, those two can live on.”
