After hours of repeating the same action over and over, Kazuki had made a large and noticeable puddle inside Bereesk’s cell. At first, the grey dragon had not been aware of Kazuki nor the ice sweat melting in his room but very quickly he felt something wet at his feet.
With a flex of his tail, he scooped up a small fleck of ice and examined it.
(Ice…How could there be ice in here? Magic can’t be used so how is this possible?)
A mere moment after he had this question, he spotted something flying toward his cell in this pitch-black darkness.

It was of course another piece of ice. This was perplexing, to say the least.
(This makes no sense. Ice flying into my cell. There’s not even anything outside of…)
