An itch and then a scratch. From an insignificant irritation to full-blown excruciating pain.

The large goat-headed monster had been sleeping peacefully until he was thrown from his slumber by a stabbing, shredding feeling coming from within his stomach.

*ARHHHHHHH!*

“WUt Iz DIS!?”

The monster gripped its stomach in pain. This did nothing for it though and the feeling of muscles being shredded apart came worse and worse.

“BAD BELLY!”

The monster raised a humongous fist into the air before bringing the heavy thing down like a meteor.

*BAM!*

The monster struck its stomach and the pain began to recede but the monster’s peace barely lasted a few seconds for after those few seconds the pain returned with a vengeance.

“NOO BAD BELLY U STOPS!”

The creature began to strike its stomach repeatedly but just like the first time the pain only went away briefly before coming back in full force. Finally, the creature could take it no more and its long wings stretched open.

*FWAP FWAP*

The creature took to the skies whilst still in pain. When it reached a few thousand feet up, it changed directions, folding its wings around its body, it dove at the ground like a titanic javelin.

*BANG!*

The ground split open, leaving a crater half a mile wide in diameter in the wake of such an impact.

The pain faded this time for a few more seconds than usual. The ugly monster sighed in relief. Rubbing its stomach it became confused.

“Y did u DO dis belly? U hav to behave or else me will be mads.”

As if to respond to his almost incoherent way of speaking, his calm stomach suddenly bulged outward, the pain coming back 100 times worse.

“AHRRRR! Belly Y u bites me!?”

The creature grabbed the extrusion coming from his stomach and pushed it back in before unfolding its wings once more and taking to the sky.

“Me will teach U whos da boss.”

The monster flew up several miles into the sky before diving back down and crashing into the bottom of the trench. It did this several more times until there were multiple craters all over the place. Still, the feeling did not subside but only grew worse. The large dead fish-like eyes stared at its stomach in disbelief at how much agony it was in and wondered if it was not better to cut away the problem.

Just as it was on the verge of doing so the bulging became more apparent and a small hole ruptured outward followed by an arm.

The monster stared at this arm in absolute shock before grabbing it and pulling with all of its might.

Kazuki in a single pull was ripped out of the creature’s stomach and thrown into the ground with unbelievable force.

*BANG!*

Seeing what it had just pulled from its gut, the monster was even more confused and surprised.

“U! U were da recen Me was hurtin!”

There was no response. Instead, Kazuki laid on the ground. In his hand was a large piece of meat. Stuffing it into his mouth, Kazuki began to chew. Consuming more and more of the creature’s flesh on the way out, caused Kauzki’s body to evolve in a certain sense. As he ate pieces of the monster, the nameless technique continued to absorb it. In return, Kazuki’s body grew stronger and tougher. At first, he couldn’t chew the dense flesh of the creature and it would even leave him with chipped and cracked teeth, now however he was actually chewing it and swallowing it directly.

The creature witnessed this strange behavior and saw that although Kazuki was eating, it seemed that he wasn’t aware of anything. After seeing all of this, the creature grew angry.

“Me eat u, not U eat Me!”

The creature raised both its fist high into the sky before slamming them down as hard as it could.

*BANG!*

The poor ground. After suffering several blows from the monster, it was starting to become powder at this point. The creature was not worried about such things though instead, its confusion rose. The place where it had just smashed should have turned Kazuki into meat paste but instead, Kazuki was no longer laying on the ground but was standing right next to the creature’s fist. before the creature could overcome its confusion, Kazuki opened his mouth wider than a person should be capable of and bit down on one of the creature’s fingers.

*CHOMP CRUNCH*

The strength of Kazuki’s bit and teeth were far above what they used to be and because of this, he bit directly into the creature’s finger, and without hesitation, he shook his head violently like a dog and tore a mouthful of flesh away.

The monster felt the pain on its hand and instinctively backhanded Kazuki into the side of a nearby mountain.

*BOOOOOOM!*

The mountain split apart and the creature heard many of Kazuki’s bones break on impact. It couldn’t help but look down at both the small hole in its stomach and the fresh wound on its finger in absolute awe. The number of things capable of harming this creature, down here at the bottom of this abyssal trench, numbered only three. One was the porcupines’ sharp needles but those alone could only harm his exposed eyes and not actually penetrate its skin. The second thing was the spikes all along the cliff wall. Those could completely penetrate its flesh and it dared not ever touch them. The third and final thing was the dark Titan. The ugly creature didn’t even need to come close to the Titan for the Titan to kill it. The Titans powers were far beyond it and it knew to never get on the Titans bad side.

The creature knew of only these three things that could harm it. It understood this as fact and beyond those three things it had invincibility down here. That’s how it’s been since as far back as it could remember and that’s how it was always supposed to be. Yet now, a snack it ate a while ago had somehow become incredibly powerful and actually ate its way out of its body.

(How did da snack become dis strong dat it could hurts me?)

The creature was left in thought for a few seconds until a certain sound caught its attention.

*Crack crack Snap Crack*

In the distance, in the exact same direction it had just backhanded Kazuki, it heard the sound of something similar to bones breaking. Looking over toward Kazuki it saw something horrifying.

The same snack it had just slapped across the land and slammed into the side of a mountain. The same one that had broken several bones and should already have died from such an impact. That very same snack was standing up.

Kazuki’s back was twisted but with a swallow, the piece of flesh he had just torn away from the monster’s finger disappeared into his soul world, absorbed by the nameless black hole at the base of his soul tree. HIs twisted back began to pop and crack back into place until he stood as strong as an oak. His left leg and right arm as well. The two limbs were twisted backward and flesh tore through his skin but after he swallowed that piece of flesh, his bones straightened and reset, his body became slightly tougher and stronger.

The creature had never seen such a thing in its entire life. Besides the Titan, it had dominated all other life down here and felt as though this place was its own personal playground, its own kingdom. Everything was for him to take and everything was for him to eat. He played with life as though it were nothing. When he was bored he’d skin the crocodiles and wear their flesh like little gloves for his fingertips.

When he wanted to hear a bunch of popping noises, he’d find hordes of Clackers and squish them beneath his feet. Seeing all the blood and feeling the bug guts spread around his toes was funny to him. Life and death fear, none of these things occurred to him bt seeing Kazuki rise up defying the creature’s limited knowledge was so unsettling that the hairs on the creature’s body began to stand up one by one.

(Dis feeling, dis is like when da Titan’s aura comes out. Y am me feeling dis?)

The creature couldn’t help but look down at the fur on its arm standing upright. It then looked back up to see what Kazuki was doing but Kazuki was no longer there. The creature looked around but couldn’t see Kazuki anywhere, it then sniffed at the air and smelled Kazuki’s scent directly below itself. Before it could look downward, it felt a sharp pain on the side of its foot. Instinctively it kicked the thing away and saw that it was Kazuki it had kicked away.

Again Kazuki slammed into the mountainside far away and the creature saw a tiny bit of flesh missing from its foot, a few drops of blood spilled onto the ground and it felt horrified. Out in the distance, a familiar sound echoed in his ear.

*Crack crack snap Crack*
