Return of the Fallen Volume 8 Chapter 54
Fera and the Ancient beasts disappeared into the horizon. Glacious knew this wasn’t good. If Fera got to Etora and killed him, she would have multiple fake bodies running loose. Not only Etora, Nunully and the rest were in danger from Garn as well.
(I have to finish this as fast as possible.)
The ki within Glacious began to circulate faster and faster and the strength in his muscles rose once more. He began to steadily push against the two kings in front of him and the deadlock began to break.
Berus was pissed.
“I thought you said he was still injured. How the fuck does he still have so much power!?”
King Azar grit his teeth as he spoke through them.
“If you have the time to talk put it into your attacks or we’ll lose before this truly begins!”
King Azar’s eyes lit up with emerald light. The gravity upon Glaicous skyrocketed and he began to sink into the ground. Glacious snorted before one of his own eyes began to glow green. The gravity suppressing him lightened greatly and he even spread it over the two kings.
Berus’s eyes lit up with a silverish glow and above in the sky, cracks of lightning gathered in an instant and rained down like demonic serpents. This lightning raced downward and threatened to strike Glacious directly in the head but who was Glacious? He was not one to simply be attacked without pause. Two large draconic wings sprouted from his back in an instant and protected his body.
The lightning crashed upon his shield-like wings and bounced away, crashing into the ground nearby.
*BOOOOOM! CRACK KA-BOOOOM!*
Explosions resounded one after another as lightning danced across the land like a hundred thousand stampeding bulls.
The land broke apart and shattered, sending splintering rocks and other debris flying off in every direction for 10’s of miles.
All three took note of the damage but this much shouldn’t be enough to attract Zetrazz’s attention or rather intervention. They did not fear Zetrazz but they understood his strength well. To fight him, there was no guarantee that either side would necessarily lose but to bring another monster like him in at this time would benefit no one and all three knew it. So even if they were to fight each other, they came to an unspoken agreement, to not destroy the continent. At least not right now.
Glacious lifted his head and released a roar into the sky.
A hurricane several miles wide spun into existence and began to scatter the lightning away from him. Azar saw this as an opening and opened his mouth as well.
“BURN!”
A column of fire reached dangerous temperatures and bathed Glacious in bluish-white flames. Glacious looked at Azar in a strange manner as if he were insulted before shouting in fury.
“YOU DARE USE FIRE ON A DRAGON! I AM THE FIRE! I AM THE EVERLASTING FLAME!”
Glacious opened his mouth as wide as possible and a black fire gathered in his mouth. Just as the pyro rushed forward, Berus opened his mouth as well and the temperature around him dropped as a frozen wind raced out. Azar’s bluish-white flame, Berus’s frozen wind, and Glacious’s black flame all collided between each other at this exact moment.
Berus and Azar went wild with their power and fired them side by side. It was two 7th stage begins against one. Flame and ice against flame and darkness. The magic between the three made the ground both boil and melt before freezing over in a layer of thick ice and then melting again.
None held the exact advantage at this moment but it was obvious that whoever was the first to run out of breath would be the one to take a loss.
Seconds became minutes yet no one was giving up. Once more a deadlock had formed. Hands completely locked and breath locked as well. They still had their legs but none could move them from their spot at this time. Their legs were like anchors that held them in place and kept them balanced. To try and use one for a kick would throw them completely off center and would lead to a crushing blow.
This deadlock was not something that could last though without someone making a move. They couldn’t simply breathe at one another all day.
The power between them began to warp the air and sparks began to emerge as excess energy started to collide with one another at a mico level. Add to the fact that both Azar and Glacious were still using high levels of gravity to crush each other, a strange event none of them could have expected occurred.
All of this excess energy begin compressed as tightly as possible, along with it being flung around at hypersonic speeds, this overabundance of energy started to smash into each other at the atomic level. Add to the fact that their own auras were pushing in with an unbelievable amount of pressure, a shockwave suddenly erupted between the three and a large explosion erupted almost as if a star had exploded.
*BOOOOOOM!*
All three went flying in separate directions for hundreds of miles. The exact moment they were thrown away from each other a small tiny crack of space was torn in the center and fractions of a second after a black hole formed. The three had been thrown hundreds of miles away from one another and the very next instant they felt a powerful drag on their bodies as they were pulled back in toward the center of the explosion.
Berus and Azar had a panicked expression as they witnessed this rupture of space and time and they quickly tried to escape its grasp. This power however was difficult to overcome so instead they tried to contain it. Their aura’s stretched out and surrounded this anomaly but to their horror, parts of their aura were ripped and torn and sucked into the black hole.
“AZAR, THINK OF SOMETHING!”
Berus shouted these words but what could be done. The two at this moment spotted Glacious several miles away. his left eye glowed with purple light and the element of space surrounded him in a thin layer of power. His body that was flying toward the black hole came to an abrupt stop and he was no longer being sucked inward.
Glacious gave the two kings a vicious smile.
“The power of space is quite mysterious. Maybe if you two fall in you’ll survive. I doubt it but it is possible. Either way, it looks like our fight will be cut short here.”
The nearby land, sky, and magic, all of it and everything else around was being swallowed inside. Glacious knew he couldn’t allow this blackhole to continue going on for long. Otherwise, it would continue to swallow things and grow in both size and strength. At a certain point, he would no longer have the power to contain it and it would swallow the world itself.
He also couldn’t let it get to the point where Zetrazz would step in. He could already feel Zetrazz repairing the continent right after the explosion between the three had occurred. If he didn’t, the entirety of Feya would already have been sunk beneath the ocean, that much Glacious was sure of.
Berus and Azar were still miles away but they were slowly but surely being pulled toward the black hole. Berus grabbed at the ground and pushed himself down with his own aura but it wasn’t enough. Layer after layer off the ground was pulled up around him and eventually he was drifting back towards the center. He desperately fired lightning and ice into the black hole, hoping he could destroy it but to his horror, the black hole simply sucked it all in and the pulling force on his body grew.
“NOOO! STOP IT!”
While Berus was panicking, the gears in Azar’s mind were turning at a terrifying speed. He witnessed Berus’s magic fly into the black hole and saw the black hole only grow. Azar fire his own magic towards the black hole and the results were the same. He quickly thought about what led to this moment in the first place.
(The power of space has always been one of the biggest mysterious yet somehow this space anomaly was created when our powers collided. At that moment, what exactly happened?)
Azar cleared his mind and recalled everything at that exact moment. The sensation he felt in the air, the feeling as his power collided with Glacious. Everything replayed in his head with perfect clarity.
(All of our magic was colliding in the center and this made byproduct of some sort. There was an overabundance of magic in the air as well as a chaotic movement. All of the energy was flying around banging together at a terrifying speed. Not only that the pressure was…)
A thought occurred to Azar at this moment and he decided to try something.
(This thing is pulling on me as if it were pure gravity. If it pulls with more gravity, can the pulling effect be lessened in a similar way.)
Azar surrounded his body with gravity and made himself much heavier. It did indeed slow him but that was it. He then thought of something else and aimed his gravity at the black hole swirling in the distance before shooting it forward.
The gravity began to slow the spin of the black hole and the pulling force lessened by a small amount. Azar then attempted to surround the black hole with gravity and condense the black hole.
(My gravity seems to have an effect on it. If I can crush it enough, maybe I can make it collapse in on itself and destroy it.)
Both of Azar’s eyes glowed green and the power of gravity rose to greater and greater heights as it surrounded the blackhole on all sides.
“CRUSH!”
