Return of the Fallen Volume 8 Chapter 93
Kazuki’s nose crinkled due to a rotten stench lingering in the air.
“You three smell like shit.”
Asuna and Kimi looked down at themselves and saw a thick greasy black sticky liquid sitting on their skin and hair. Taking a single whiff both were horrified by the odor.
Asuna tried to wipe it off with no luck while Kimi screamed and tried to hide in her own hands.
“Why Why Why! Ir smells so awful!”
Sam lifted a hairy arm and took a whiff and then shrugged his shoulders with little care.
“Kazuki what is this, why are we covered in hair, and what is all this yucky filth?”
“The hair Kimi is from the devouring technique. As it enhances your body and makes you grow, it doesn’t just strengthen your body. It provides vitality to your all. That includes skin, hair, nails, and everything else that makes you, you. As for the smell, well that is from your evolution. Your body got a massive level up. In doing so, your body pushed out all of the unnatural toxins and impurities one automatically builds inside their body due to diet, environment, and so on. That greasy shit covering you, those are the impurities.”
“No no no, this isn’t mine! It must have come fr0om something else, I don’t naturally smell like this, ew.”
Kazuki shook his head as Kimi didn’t seem to get it or was trying to save some imaginary reputation.
Kazuki raised a hand and ignored her words. A gush of water came flowing out like a small waterfall. He made it surround the three and spun around them with both speed and pressure. This water pulled all the black filth away in an instant. Afterward, he simply dumped it all off to the side.
“Asuna, do you want me to cut the hair for you?”
Asuna, Kimi, and Sam had so much hair that they resembled a humanoid animal rather than a regular person. Kazuki created a small ice mirror and held it up in front of Asuna for her to see. The moment she saw her own appearance she nodded in embarrassment.
“Please!”
Kazuki’s aura extended outward, encompassing Asuna’s entire body. shaping his aura to a fine point, the pressure became similar to a razor blade. His aura flowing around her, in a mere moment, the unsightly long hair was trimmed away and Asuna’s beautiful face was presented to the world.
Kimi was stunned when she saw Asuna. Her skin was so fine, so supple and smooth, she resembled an angel in Kimi’s mind. Kimi couldn’t help but run over and rub Asuna’s face.
“This is better than the best beauty treatments. Asuna you’d be a model back on earth.”
Asuna took a second look in the mirror and even she was surprised. Her skin right now was flawless and seemed to glow with both youth and vigor. Not only that, her height had increased and she now stood at 6ft tall. Filled with strength and power along with these looks, Asuna felt a boost in confidence. She wasn’t one who really cared about her looks but seeing herself in the mirror right now, her cheeks couldn’t help but be pulled upward as she smiled at what she saw.
At the same time, Kimi caught her own reflection and was shocked by all the hair. The stench was now gone but she felt like she looked like a gorilla. Comparing herself to Asuna, jealousy, and embarrassment filled her mind.
She appeared in front of Kazuki like a ghost and demanded.
“Me next! Cut my hair as well. You better not hold back either. Just because you and Asuna are an item you better not treat us differently, otherwise…”
Kimi added nothing else to this threat but she glared at Kazuki as if she would chew his head off and spit it on the ground. Kazuki could feel a woman’s competitiveness oozing out of her.
“Sorry but I don’t think that’s appropriate.”
Kimi started to flare up but before she exploded on Kazuki, Kazuki swiftly explained why.
“Before you blow your top just listen. I used my aura to cut Asuna’s hair.”
Kimi still didn’t seem to understand so Kazuki continued.
“Aura is something one can use to sense things. Using my aura it’s like I’m touching, smelling, seeing, and so on with it. Using it on Asuna, it’s like I coped a feel all over her body if you get my meaning. So you see, I’m not discriminating or playing favorites. Using my aura to cut the hair from your ass or crotch, it’d be like I’m directly touching those places. I don’t really care but I know…
Before Kazuki could even finish his sentence, Sam stood up and stared at Kazuki.
“Your right Kazuki, that would be inappropriate.”
Kazuki understood Sam’s attitude. He would be the same way if someone said they would need to touch all over someone’s body that you cared about. Sam didn’t play that shit at all.
Kimi as well didn’t want Kazuki feeling her all over with his creepy aura hands. Still, seeing Asuna’s glowing face, it was stinging her pride as a woman.
“Kazuki, what about my head and face, that wouldn’t be too bad I suppose?”
Sam looked at Kii as if she were crazy though it was difficult to tell with all the hair on his face.
“Kimi, just wait until after battle, I’ll cut your hair for you. Kazuki doesn’t need to do it specifically.”
Kimi’s tone shifted.
“You think I am going to show up on the battlefield looking like this! The armor Kazuki gave us will cover my body so no one will see that part of me but I refuse to appear in front of everyone looking like some kind of ugly gorilla.”
Sam didn’t know what to say to that. Thinking about it though, as long as she kept her face hidden in the armor Kazuki gave her, no one would see her face anyway, so he was a little confused. Sam wasn’t one to argue too deeply when it came to a woman’s looks so he said nothing on that part but added.
“Kazuki, only her head and face.”
“Kimi, is that what you want?”
Kimi nodded.
“My body will be hidden in the armor so just above the neck should be ok I suppose. You better not try something though. I’ll know if you try and feel me up. If you even think about doing such a thing I’ll melt your eyes from your head.”
Kazuki chuckled inwardly. Even though Kimi was now at the 5th stage just like he was, the difference between the two was like heaven and earth. The chance of her attack causing damage to him was relatively low but even if it did, he would regenerate in seconds. Her threatening tone was like a small child’s threat to beat an adult up. It was laughable in every way.
Kazuki nodded his head halfheartedly before stretching out his aura. It swirled around Kimi’s face at a moment’s notice and Kazuki could pick out every fine and minute detail. For a split second, he thought about tormenting Kim and giving her a bowl cut or giving her a buzz cut but he knew if he did that, Kimi would be in his ear until the end of time.
Going with her regular style, he removed all hair from her face except for her eyebrows of course and she kept a long ponytail.
It took less than a second for her now flawless skin to be revealed and she promptly snatched the mirror from Asuna. As soon as she looked in the mirror she furrowed her brows or rather her brow. Kazuki had done everything perfectly but he left her full unibrow intact.
“Dammit, Kazuki!”
The moment everyone saw it, Kazuki broke out into laughter, and even Asuna covered her mouth and tried to hold her laughs back. Kimi turned to Sam and was shocked to see his hairy face distorting as he too held his laughter in. Kimi became sad and gave Sam a puppy-like look but due to the unibrow, it only made her look like a sad clown.
Sam couldn’t take that look and finally burst out in laughter as well.
“Kazuki you asshole!”
Kimi ran over and started punching Kazuki in his stomach and chest but her strength was nothing compare dot his and it noyl made him laugh more.
A few tears started to spill from Kimi as she demanded.
“Fix it fix ti fix it.”
Kazuki wasn’t trying to make her this upset and quickly fixed it.
“Ok ok, done.”
Kimi’s little fist stopped for a moment.
“You promise?”
Kazuki made another ice mirror and tossed it to her.
“Take a look for yourself.”
Kimi looked in the mirror and her eyebrows really were fixed. Still, she held mistrust that there was another prank waiting for her and she began inspecting every inch of her face in the mirror. To her pleasant surprise, she found nothing but beautiful supple skin.
She ran over to Sam and began showing off.
“Well, how is it how is it. A true beauty aren’t I?”
Sam nodded.
“The only beauty.”
Kimi hugged Sam and laughed lightly.
“Hehe.”
At the same time, in the back of Kazuki’s mind, he was laughing like a maniac.
(How pissed would she be if she were to find the small gift I left her? Bwahahaha.)
On the side of Kimi’s head, Kazuki had cut a single piece of hair and sculpted it in the shape of someone’s ass mooning people. Not just anyone’s ass though, it was his own. Kazuki stared at Kimi with a small dumb smile on his face. Kimi found this to be suspicious.
“Why are you staring at me like that. I knew it you did something didn’t you!?!?”
Kazuki quickly denied it.
“You’ve checked it yourself, like Sam said you’re beautiful.”
Kimi was still suspicious but she really did check it over herself. Nodding along she was filled with pride.
“That’s right, I am beautiful.”
Kazuki was still laughing inside his own head. Turning around he locked eyes with the silver orbs in Danny’s head. Danny looked between Kii and Kazuki before he gave Kazuki a knowing thumbs up.
Danny knew exactly what Kazuki had done.
