Return of the Fallen Volume 9 Chapter 79
Though Torzz wanted to destroy his brother within every fiber of his being, at the same time, he knew fighting him would be pointless. An immense amount of power would be needed to destroy a Titan and Torzz could not spare any as the world was in danger of being destroyed. Not only that, when Fera and Kazuki clashed just then, Torzz did not sense his mother’s presence whatsoever. This told him an undeniable fact. His mother was serious this time around.
She was clearly choosing Kazuki. At the same time, this left Torzz confused.
(If the whole reason she cannot leave this place and needs to send Kazuki out into the higher realms s because she’s supposed to watch over this world, why would she let it be destroyed. Unless maybe…Is she trying to shift blame? Fera’s mother can not interfere but is watching everything unfold at this moment. At the same time, someone is watching through Kazuki’s compass. If the world is destroyed by the human siblings, mother could use this as a bargaining chip and be compensated. Whether this was truth or fiction, no one know but Torzz understood how cunning his mother could be and knew this might be the exact thing she would do.

Torzz continued to blanket the world with his energy, constantly reinforcing the ground, making it tougher than diamonds.
Zetrazz as well put his own energy over the surface of the world. If he couldn’t fight his older brother, at least he would keep the world protected so that he could watch Fera and Kazuki fight as long as possible. Excitement grew more and more as he watched the siblings standing off. The tension was incredibly high and could pop off at any given moment.
“That stupid dragon taught you how to use his fused magic. To think he would teach it to someone who will be as dead as him fairly soon. What a dumb fucking lizard.”
Kazuki felt his blood boiling but circulating his ki allowed his emotions to calm.
“Glacious was more intelligent than you will ever be. If he is dumb then what does that make you, the person who is copying his fused magic. As I recall you didn’t have this ability last time when you two fought at the Rin mountain range. You saw him use it and just had to have it just like Kai’s Mage core, just like mine. You take whatever you wish because you cannot learn or do anything yourself. You gained my comprehension for the flame and brothers wind. Without us or others to take from, your true self would be no more than a piece of shit…Actually…”
*Sniff Sniff*
“By the smell of it, you already are a piece of shit and a thieving coward.”
Fera’s eyes widened and she quickly extended two fingers. Once more the power of lightning and flame fused into one creating a red bolt of lightning. The speed was even faster than before but this time Kazuki was ready for it so he was ready. Sensing the Titan’s powers covering the surface of the world, Kazuki didn’t hesitate to fire fused white flames with darkness embedded within at this fierce bolt.
“Using the same move twice Fera.”
Kazuki expected another explosion the moment the two powers impacted but the moment before they crashed into each other, Fera smiled deviously. Moving her fingers she pointed to the side. The power of gordonia wrapped around the red bolt of lightning and it instantly changed directions. It curved around Kazuki’s white black flames and shot directly towards his chest.
Kazuki’s eyes widened in shock. His aura shot up and he used strengthening aura, fire, and ki to boost his speed. More than a hundred layers of aura folded in front of him making a barrier tough enough to fend off even a Titan’s blow but this power from Fera was beyond that.
*Chsh Chshh Chshh CHsshhh*
A sound similar to metal being shredded rang out continuously as his aura was torn through dozens of layers at a time. Kazuki dodged to the side in this split moment but her red bolt had already passed through his aura. At the very last moment, he used Zephris’s ability, and with the power of gordonia, he created a large shield of god metal in front of him.
*BOOOOOM CRACK!*
The shield broke instantly and the bolt of lightning directly hit Kazuki’s right shoulder. From the top of his shoulder down all throughout his arm and right hand, it became charred black. Not even a second later it crumbled to ash and fell away.
Torzz saw this and was thrilled.
(I knew it. Even if he’s entered the 7th stage, he is still a fresh pup off his mother’s tit. He doesn’t understand his power enough nor can he defend properly against Fer…)
Torzz’s thoughts stopped in their track as the very moment Kazuki’s arm fell apart, a brand new one grew instantly. Pure white bone exploded out from the base of his shoulder and formed an arm. Flesh nerves and blood replenished and regenerated nearly instantly. Finally, layers of skin wrapped around his newly formed arm and he was whole again.
Zetrazz laughed seeing this. He understood that Kazuki, among fleshy beings, his regeneration was leagues above any creature he had ever come across. Looking at his older brother’s reaction, Zetrazz felt chills run through him seeing such a dumbfounded look.
Torzz didn’t know what to say or think at this moment. He had never seen regeneration of this level among humans and had no clue how Kazuki obtained such ability. Not only that, he could sense that Kazuki had not used any magic to heal himself and this was all his body’s natural regeneration.
Kazuki himself understood how shocking this scene would be in front of those unaware. After being enhanced multiple times, along with the devouring gate connected to his soul tree, his body evolved again and again and again. When it came to physicality, Kazuki’s strength and healing were above everyone in this world.
Fera saw this and didn’t expect it but her expression barely changed.
“So this is how you’ve continued to survive like a roach time after time. I was curious. How could the weakling live after falling into the abyssal trench, how could you come back around like a little prick in my side again and again? No matter. I’ll jus
*BANG!*
As Fera was still talking, Kazuki had used his own magic. Changing the gravity on his earlier attack, after it flew past Fera, he made it switch direction. While she was in the middle of her monologue, her guard was slightly down and he hit her in the back.
*SZZZzz*
A few layers of Fera’s skin were burned away in a flash and her back was smoking slightly.
“You dare attack me when I was speaking!”
Kazuki shrugged his shoulders.
“Did you not attack me twice when I was off guard. All is fair in a fight. Besides, it’s only a piece of shit who’s talking.”
Kazuki smiled at Fera and she began to shake.
“INSOLENT!”
Fera’s eyes began to glow with power and at the same time dark clouds, hundreds of miles in diameter suddenly swirled and formed above in the sky. As lightning cracked within, the sky lit up with red light. At the same time, the gravity shifted and she tried to force Kazuki to the ground and hold him in place.
Kazuki pushed back with his own gravity but it was immediately clear that he wasn’t as proficient with the power and he was slowly being forced to the ground. Without another word, the dark sky became filled with only flashes of red as fused lightning bolts descended in the 10’s of thousands.
Both Torzz and Zetrazz saw this and even they became fearful and unsure of whether they could defend the world from being destroyed. At the same time, Kazuki saw this and remained calm. Being held in place was not the end for him. As thousands of bolts of red lightning were about to strike him, he swiftly extended both hands at once and his eyes glowed with purple light. His aura mimicked the power of space and using the same move as Asuna, Kazuki called out in his mind.
