Return of the Fallen Volume 9 Chapter 93
Just before Kazuki was sucked into the first black hole and crushed to death. He felt a powerful force grab hold of him and stop his death. Kazuki called out in shock.
“ZETRAZZ!”
Zetrazz had extended his aura and caught Kazuki by his ankle. Using his aura breath, he managed to weaken his brother Torzz just enough to spare a little more aura to try and rescue Kazuki. Through the chaotic storms winds and random gravity that flipped back and forth and through the endless pull from both black holes, Zetrazz had just barely caught Kazuki.
Torzz was pissed and roared.
“YOU DARE!”
Zetrazz continued to unleash his aura breath upon his brother, keeping his power mostly at bay.
“Kazuki, hang on. I’ll pull you away right now!”
Focusing on both Torzz’s onslaught of attacks and the pull of the black holes, Zetrazz was struggling. He tried to use his aura and pull Kazuki away from the crushing and sucking force but he quickly discovered a problem. No matter how he tried, he could not take Kazuki away from the black hole. Its strength was far too great now and as time continued to tick by, its pull and gravity only grew.
Zetrazz could already feel his aura being disrupted and torn as the black hole increased in size more and more.
Kazuki as well realized the problem. Even if he was a dumbass, his body would realize it right away as he felt his bones creak and crack under the intense gravity. Kazuki quickly covered his body in layers of aura, increasing his defense by many folds. The weight crushing him from every angle suddenly lessened from this and he quickly tried to push himself away using his aura.
The result of this though bore no fruit. He then switched things up. If he can’t teleport away because the black hole was stealing all of the element of space, and if he couldn’t sink closer to the ground to try and grip the world and pull himself away, he would instead use Zetrazz’s aura to escape.
His own aura outstretched tendrils of energy and wrapped around Zetrazz’s aura. When he did this, Zetrazz’s eyes widened but he didn’t object. Kazuki using Zetrazz’s aura like a rope, began to slowly pull himself to freedom, inch by inch.
Torzz became enraged and started launching anything and everything he could to try and break Zetrazz’s aura. If he could just tear it apart for even a single second then Kazuki who was only feet away from the black hole would be sucked in and killed.
Mountains and tidal waves came flying at Zetrazz from all around. To these, he would bat them away with overwhelming power. However, when Torzz fired the concentrated beam of both flame and gravity, Zetrazz was forced to avoid it or rather redirect it. If he used all of his power to smash into this beam of destruction, that could only lead to more black holes opening around them all. One was already enough to destroy the world and there were already two and the two were both growing.
At the same time, he couldn’t simply avoid his brother’s powerful attack. If he did, then it would crash into the world and the planet wouldn’t make it. Zetrazz knew things had become serious because his brother who was so adamant about preserving the world, bringing it peace from humans was actively firing off such devastating magic that it could destroy the world in a single attack.
(Was it all a lie. I thought he wished to have peace upon the world but by doing everything in his power to destroy Kazuki, he’s risking it all. Is this how mother has felt all this time.)
Zetrazz realized that Detra had to deal with this type of shit far too much. She had to be the one who watched over the world and made sure it wasn’t destroyed by those with unmatched might. Zetrazz now understood how much of a burden not only he but everyone else who used their power so nonchalantly was.
As Torzz fired this dense beam of fire at Zetrazz as well as at Kazuki, Zetrazz was forced to be the protector of both Kazuki and the world. He gathered his power and using his aura breath and all his might, he would attack this incoming beam of fire from different angles. This time instead of his power covering Torzz’s, it would act like an angled wall and force Torzz’s magic up and into the atmosphere.
Beams of powerful energy were guided away from the world and up into space, where they exploded again and again.
Even though they exploded in space, one could feel a slight pressure on the skin as some of the force still managed to find its way back down to the world. It was hot and heavy. It made one’s lungs fill with heat and it dried the skin.
Torzz was growing more and more frustrated. He should be the one with the complete advantage. He was using all of his power to try and destroy both Kazuki as well as his brother. He had thought about killing Zetrazz for eons and thought he was the stronger one of the two but he clearly wasn’t. His brother was using aura breath to suppress some of his power. A technique Zetrazz had come up with. The fact that his little brother had come up with and created his very own technique and now Torzz couldn’t claim to be the stronger sibling really ate away at him.
(Am I not the oldest? Am I not the one who can use both gordonia and fire, yet Zetrazz is deflecting my strongest attack. Why? Why can he keep me at bay? He’s always thought of nothing but entertainment, it was I who was actively trying to better the world and now he fights me and tries to stand in my way. The foolish brother who mother favored above me. This brother that Was born from another MALE made father abandon us. THIS BASTARD STILL DOESN’T KNOW WHEN TO QUIT!)
Torzz had enough.
(I’ll destroy them both in a single move!)
A small piece of metal materialized in the palm of his hand and began to contract become denser and denser as Torzz increased the gravity around it.
Both Zetrazz and Kazuki realized right away what he was trying to do and they felt a chill inside.
Zetrazz yelled at Kazuki.
“HURRY! HE’S TRYING TO CREATE ANOTHER BLACK HOLE!”
(Damn! If one is already capable of killing me and two makes me move like a snail, a third one would leave no hope.)
Kazuki was forced to dissolve several of the layers protecting him from being crushed. At the same time, he protected only his upper body and head with aura. The very ext instant, his legs were crushed and torn apart by the pulling force behind him. Kazuki didn’t panic though and expected this.
The spinning void was still activated inside of him and the moment his legs were ripped apart, they vanished into his soul world and were devoured by the spinning void. Kazuki’s body even without magic, ki, or aura, his physical body was filled with energy. His healing factor was evidence of that. His lower half entered the spinning void and in return this spinning void spits out strands of energy that drilled into his soul tree, causing his soul and physical body to grow stronger and tougher.
This was how he had broken the seal. He had used his own body to gather energy. This though had its limits. He could only feel a small amount of strength rise up inside of him. If it was different, and he could gain great strength from it, he wouldn’t mind tearing away limbs and constantly feeding the void inside as he regenerated again and again.
With a little bit more strength, Kazuki also used aura strengthening and the small amount of ki that he had recovered in this time. His arms bulged slightly as he used both his aura and his physical hands to grip Zetrazz’s aura and pull himself away with all of his strength.
Torzz was not having this and went to throw the slug of metal directly at Kazuki. Once a new black hole formed, all of it would be over.
*WHOOSH*
The small dense piece of metal went flying as fast as lightning. Zetrazz tried to stop it but Torzz simply curved and changed its direction using gravity. In a flash, it arrived next to Kazuki and instantly collapsed in on itself. Kazuki and Zetrazz…they were too late.

…
The piece of metal had just collapsed and space was just starting to tear when it froze right then and there. Not just the newly forming black hole but the other two had both come to a complete standstill.
Kazuki felt a familiar presence and sighed internally.
(That slow bastard finally decided to show up.)
