Money, HP, equipment, status…… All of those things lost their meaning just now, just for this one crucial moment. The only thing that matters right now is the bunch of crazy lunatics with a death wish who managed to breach all security and break into the captain quarters with their weapons laid bare, about ready to wreck some much needed havoc in here. And even though Deerhorn managed to reinforce his position in the far corner of the room and was shooting with energy gatling gun at us while laughing maniacally, he would do best not to underestimate us. For there was much anger and frustration that was boiling deep down inside of us, and it was really close to reaching the critical levels.
At this point in time, the frenzy feast can no longer be stopped. And we could see that for Deerhorn it was the same kind of deal. The light of sanity was long gone from his eyes, surely a result of him having to redecorate his personal quarters into an ultimate last stand stronghold those couple past days. At this point in time it was clear to us that he would no longer bother with taking prisoners, and that he would simply try to mow down everyone and everything that could be deemed as expendable here. Even if it meant killing his own NPCs and destroying his hard-payed property.

So as you can see, both sides are pretty adamant about not wanting to go down no matter what. But that does not mean that we are going to give up now. However, we are in quite a pickle here: we need to get close to his nest in order to take him out for good, but getting closer means getting in the effective range of the gatling gun’s fire. And surely I do not need to tell you all how taking a gatling gun fire head on would end for us, hm?
So for now we have decided to focus on the simple hit and run tactic. We were taking turns in jumping out of cover and taking blind potshots at Deerhorn with our weapons. Because no matter how good or powerful is that custom-made Captain armor of his, it is bound to have its limits. And it would be nice if it could reach that limit sooner rather than later.
