Around the same time when a certain bird-headed player was taking his very first steps as the President in another world.

「…… Hey, listen to this, Saiga-0-san! I happened to overhear through a grapevine the other day that Sanraku managed to get into a fight with the mortal enemy of Emul and his people, but is that actually true? Can you actually believe it? I mean, a monster from the ancient past, said to be as strong as the Gods of old? Isn’t that just terrible, going to fight against such a thing completely on your own, without asking anyone for backup, just in case the things would have gone wrong? And Emul has also stepped up his game since some time ago, not getting scared when I approach him from behind and trying to interrogate him…… I think that at this rate I am going to lose all of my dignity as the elder sister here. I think that I should try to step up my game a little bit here by trying to overcome some sort of a mighty enemy. But what about you, Saiga-0-san?」

「I… I guess so……?」

As the youngest sister in the household, Saiga-0 could not possibly understand the feelings of her elder sister when it comes to many things, but she also knew that even though it is no longer for her sister’s wishes, she needed to go forward and grow strong on her own.

It is precisely because of that reason that she even managed to unlock the Unique Scenario “Diale’s Secret Special Training”, but because of the new in-game developments she was finding that particular Unique Scenario a little bit difficult to clear all on her own.

That is because the conditions for clearing this Unique Scenario are that the total amount of EXP points of Diale needs to exceed the total amount of EXP points that Emul has. And seeing just how things were until recently with both bunnies, this means more or less that……

The difference was just too great to be filled.

This situation here was not the case of Achilles versus the tortoise race. Even if both Emul and Diale were both gaining experience at the same time, there would still be a huge gap that needed to be filled on Diale’s side of things.

What’s more, since Emul usually keeps company with Sanraku, he is able to partake in the battles with much more formidable enemies, which in turn means that he is able to receive a whole lot more EXP points than you would from normal monsters.

(However, while on my way back home today, I received a message on the SNS group chat from Hizutome-kun, saying that he might not be able to log into ShanFro for a while. But not really. I did not hear that through SNS group chat or e-mail. I actually heard about that when we were going back home side by side……)

「Ehe…… Ehehe…… Ehehehehehe……」

「Hm? What’s wrong? You started to laugh in that strange way completely out of the blue like that……」

「N-No reason? No reason at all? Y-Yes, there is absolutely no reason for that……」

Based on what Sanraku – Hizutome Rakuro – told her, he would be unable to log into ShanFro for at least five days or so. Which may or may not extend all the way towards two weeks. And even if he was able to come back earlier for some reason, he was not planning on doing anything major within the game anytime soon.

At the same time, it means more or less that Emul won’t be able to accumulate that much EXP points, at least not by himself. This state of affairs won’t be for long, but there is no better time than right now to try and satisfy the conditions for clearing the Unique Scenario related to Diale.

When Saiga-0 took out the map from her inventory, she started to compare the locations to her current position, setting the best possible course of action and route she could take.

It is a new map developed by the mapping guild of ShangriLa Frontier, called “Naked Mapping Market”. Due to the sudden return of Tottori the Simane, the at the moment greatest and the most talked about player of ShanFro, the guild was able to update its maps with about the sixty percent of the Great Forest area of the new continent.

Overall, this map was not all that great. It’s because there are no roads in the classic sense of the word to speak of in the new continent, so they are not being displayed on the map at all. The vast majority of the map is actually one huge sea of trees, with a few landmark locations placed upon it.

However, there was one very specific landmark placed on this map. And it was that specific landmark that made the maps sell like the hottest thing around.

「Umm, Diale-san? Today’s special training regime is going to be the one that we have already run through before. But after that…… There is a place I would like to go as well. This is Elven Village, Tier Planten…… so that I can raise my own level cap.」

「Alright, I understand. Don’t worry about the enemies alongside the way, just leave them all to me!」

「I will be counting on you for today as well.」

There was no lie in that statement of Saiga-0 just now. Diale is a Magic Caster who excels at staying at the frontlines during battles. His mobility is not all that great because of his small size, and because of Saiga-0’s armor he is unable to ride on her shoulders or head. However, when it comes to playing the role of the magic tank, his abilities are second to none.

What’s more, in Emul’s case he possesses the means of attacking but usually sticks to defensive playstyle while sitting on Sanraku’s neck or head. But Diale is much more attack oriented.

This means that Saiga-0, a player who naturally possesses both firepower and durability on the battlefield, managed to obtain a moving turret for herself. This also meant that her already strong firepower received an even greater boost.

「However, I feel really bad for Ixis, borrowing Saiga-san so much these days…… Yare, yare, if you are ever going to need help with anything battle or training related, please don’t hesitate to call me. I will help you out.」

「Huh, haaah…… Diale-san!」

「Yeah, I can feel it…… It’s close.」

Both of them could feel it. Footsteps echoing throughout the ground. Saiga-0 was much larger than a normal human in this game while wearing her armor, and her footsteps were loud and mighty as well, but right about now they paled in comparison to the footsteps they were feeling and hearing.

And if those footsteps did not belong to a human, then it must have been something much bigger and way more sinister than that.

「Diale-san, let me assume the frontal position for now……」

「Y-Yeah, right. I see that you are all ready to go and gutsy as usual! I like that!」
