ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 424: Dragon! Oh, Dragon! PART 1 Part 2

I don’t know if there is really a Guild like that out there, but a group of people who probably were all Magic Casters, shoots lots of spells towards the Dragons all at once.

The massive magic attack hits its mark, but with an attack of this scale, I think we all know that at least some Friendly Fire cannot be avoided here. Just to confirm that, we could see a whole lot of dragons being shot in the air, alongside some number of player characters as well.

「Alright! Those guys are not all that strong! We can take them all out!」

「Alright my ass! At least have Tanks form a defensive line in front of you! And wait until the players are not in range! Are you out of your god-damned minds or what!?」

If you want to abide by the standard rules here, this battle is really going to be literally impossible. And the players who are aware of that start arguing with the ones who were apparently slower on the uptake here.

At that time, there was a familiar voice echoing throughout the battlefield, which was becoming increasingly more chaotic due to the nature of the current events.

「Everyone, please listen! It is not compulsory, but if you are willing to listen to orders that might give us a chance to win, gather around!」

The source of that voice was a woman with a golden sword and five floating swords behind her back. A female Sword Saint with several players behind her…… Saiga-100 speaks again throughout the battlefield.

「First, reduce the number of small dragons! In the worst case, if the research vessel and major facilities here are destroyed, the Unique Scenario EX might end up in failure! The Magic Casters and range attackers, stop attacking and regroup! “Black Swords” and “Tempura Knights”, gather your fighters and tanks and form a wall before the Magic Casters! Adjust your timing!」

Players, or people can be segregated in two categories: those who hate being ordered around and those who want to be ordered around, because its easier that way.

Perhaps there was some discussion before the dragons appeared here. A flag with a sword design on a black background and a flag with a shrimp heaven design on a white background are hung up high, serving as beacons in the chaos.

A large tree that could be used as a battering ram was blown away, and a large mass of “green” that was incomparable to the pure color of White Dragon appeared while barking.

What is particularly eye-catching about it is the thorn-like tentacles, which, contrary to the dull appearance of the main body, were wiggling in a lively manner and their number could be dozens, if not hundreds.

When they grow from the abdomen and legs and are thrust into the ground according to the will of the giant beast, they produce the effect that resembles that of sucking something up from the ground.

And then,

「Hmph!!!!」

The effect of something being sucked up by the thorn tentacles from the ground converges in the beast’s legs. The legs then grow in size and are covered in cracks filled with some sort of a white substance. The beast raises its front legs and then brings them crushing down to the ground with an air-shuttering thud.

Just then, there was an explosion. And from its epicenter, there was a shockwave that could only be described as the transcendental sway. It was fortunate or unfortunate that there was no player in the immediate vicinity of the blast, because even if someone managed to live through that, they would have been taken out by the things that emerged next from within the sea of trees area.

Who said that the enemies of the Pioneers were actually allies fighting for the same cause? With that, there was a severe change on the battlefield: the group of white dragons changed their target and started to charge at the Green Dragon Brockentreed, and the Green Dragon also took a profound step to show extreme hostility towards the other Dragon’s group.

「This is way too chaotic than we would have like, but…… this is also our chance! Build a front! Repel them! Guild leaders, converge and we need to come up with a plan!」
