「Do you think that we could help you in operating this thing as well!?」
Seeing Yashiro Bird sailing in the unusual boat like that, the other players at first were greatly confused and did not know what to do. But then they just decided to kind of roll with it and went towards the Conquering Boat, climbing on board with a swiftness that you would certainly not attribute to some of them. And almost right away they started to inquire if there was a way in which they could help.
「Oh, you see, this thing does not belong to me. It actually belongs to an acquaintance of mine. I can use it mostly because I am a member of the same party as that guy. But it seems that as long as the people who are not affiliated with the owner’s party, for as long as they keep on standing on board they will accumulate negative karma due to trespassing. So I would really think hard if I were you if you really want to be here in the first place, you know? It’s not worth it to become a wanted man for a stupid reason such as this, in my opinion.」
「Seriously!? Then why did no one else tell us about this sooner!? We never would have gotten close to this thing if we knew about that!」
「Whoa, sounds rough there, buddies. I’m not envying you in the future, that’s for sure. But, if you wish to support me here, then by all means, go right ahead and do it. I’m not going to stop you.」
「Oh, yeah, right. Here’s to a fruitful cooperation in the nearby future~.」
Of course, that was nothing more but a lie. In the first place, since karma is a status that remains hidden from the players, there is no actual way of knowing what its value is. So even if trespassing on someone else’s property is affecting the karma value, there is no way for the players to actually know about that. But it is also precisely because of that that the players can be deceived and led to believe otherwise, if you choose your words and their tone carefully.
While the players were hesitant starting to accept the truth about trespassing and karma, Yashiro Bird squinted his eyes while he was fine-tuning the ballista’s visor. Then he switched towards the ship’s steering wheel.
「Whatever you guys choose to do, it shouldn’t change the fact that we should just continue on with our assault…… And that brings us to this another shot…… THERE WE GO……!!!」
The freshly shot ballista projectile starts its journey through the night sky, on its way to reach its mark across the battlefield……

Sanraku runs through the battlefield at full speed and then he runs up some more, utilizing Siegwurm’s knees as a form of a springboard at some point. Normally he would just run through the air, but with that kind of armor being worn that was now a little bit way too unrealistic of a thing to do for him. However, now that his stats are raised considerably, it was even more important to keep his guard up and watch out for the incoming damage. One wrong move and he might just get obliterated on the spot. And going too fast or making a bad turn is like assisting the enemy in this endeavor. So as much as he would have liked that, he had to show some restraint.
「YOU THINK OF GETTING BEHIND AND THEN ONTO MY BACK! I COMMAND YOUR BRAVADO! BUT THAT’S NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH! YOU’RE TOO NAÏVE!!!」
「Guwah!?」
「So I guess that Dragon Riding is out of the question, huh!?」
The other players who arrived before Sanraku also tried to climb the dragon’s back, but were ultimately blown away thanks to the mightily beating of Siegwurm’s wings and the wind current that move was creating.
However, those players must not realize that climbing a giant like that is fairly dangerous in its own right…… Because once you fall off of him, you are going to die for sure, or at least become severely crippled.

「Now let’s cut it off like we are using an axe here!!」
SWOOSH! And with that sound the purple blade of the Centipede Halberd is flipped. Of course, it’s utterly foolish to expect that one swing of this axe is going to be enough here to cut anything off, but it is certainly worth a try…… That, and there is something in here that I would like to confirm.

There are some NPCs out there that can even do a better job at dealing damage than the players can? Who would have thought…… As if!
So does that mean that the White Dragon bit the dust? Okay, so wait, Eldranza is dead from the very beginning of the battle, Red Howl is dead for some time now and now the White Dragon is dead as well…… So that means that there are only Brockentreed abd Noirlind left on the field?
「Oi, oi, oi, oi……! We might actually be able to do this thing that way……!」
No matter how durable the two remaining Colored Dragons are, the fight against Brockentreed has been going on ever since this war first started. So it is safe to assume that even if he is the most durable one of the two, his HP should be slowly reaching zero right now. And even without going into Disaster Mode, its demise is all but assured here.
And above all else, the fact that Bryleinego, who produces a large number of small fry monsters, has died is very bad for us.

The fruits seem to be just about ripe enough to start harvesting them. To be honest, the upcoming events will definitely leave a grudge with a whole lot of people out there.
