ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 466: Dragon! Oh Dragon! PART 43 Part 1

–––––– The destination you dream of is the bottom of the dark Abyss, the Black God cast into solitude because of human arrogance.
–––––– There is only one throne. Only one ruler worthy of sitting atop of it. That is, the black half of my body.
This incantation preaches about a god who was present in the world at the very beginning of time. So in a sense, this is the incantation about a dark god from even before the Era of the Gods.
As if reacting to the words of Saiga-0’s incantation, the right side of her body started to turn black all of a sudden, and in the next moment a torrent of tremendous power erupts from her back and forms a pair of huge and magnificent wings.
But still, she must never forget.
That power is not her own, as it is the two pillars of the long forgotten God of the past.
Then in that case, what would naturally come after that would be……

「–––––– Sing, Oh the White Half of My Body!」
The now oddly—shaped knight keeps on spinning the words out of her mouth, at the same time never letting one of Siegwurm’s horns out of her sight.
「–––––– The destination I dream of is Supreme Heaven, the White God who turned into a tyrant because of his own Greed!」
Contrary to the right side of her body, the one clad in the devil-like appearance, the left side of Saiga-0’s body is clad in pure white, the one that exhibits many traits of godliness and being angel-like.
「–––––– There is only one thing worthy of praise here. Only one thing worthy of being put on the pedestal. That is, the white side of my body!」
Black on the right side of her body and the white on the left side of her body.
I somehow get the feeling that the setting here is just wrong. Normally, it should be the white color on the right side and the black color on the left side. But even though I think that this is a mistake, it really is not a mistake. Nowadays it’s the user who decides on how to use the power of the Origin, not the other way around. So in a sense, it is only natural here.
And strangely enough, it seems that the sword of the demon god also managed to get a completely new appearance because of that. But then again, it was all starting to make sense now. I mean, it would only be natural that a weapon of the gods would change its appearance and properties so that humans could wield its power properly. Even if it means toning it down a little bit.
「–––––– The left and the right side of my body. The antimony of the two elements. The two elements that would never dare to coexist if it was not for my body!」
It can be felt without a shred of doubt that when the sword is being struck into the ground, the power that comes oozing out from within it is none other but the power of the origin itself.
The left and the right side. The black element and the white element. All of that is neatly separated by the border line that runs straight in the center of Saiga-0’s body. And the wings of the origin sprouting from Siaga-0’s back seem to be wrapping her body and sword tightly, as if protecting them from harm.
「–––––– My Right Side is the manifestation of Erebus! My Left Side is the manifestation of Aether! Within my body, the two gods are inverted, creating the great Earth with me as its center!」
The Great Earth, huh?
And a huge, even oversized sword that was sucking the energy out of said Earth, huh?
Two opposing elements in one body must be constantly clashing with one another, forcing the energy that is created that way out and pouring it into the sword, which will most probably then be divided into black and white once more. So in a sense it is like a spiral of both good and evil intertwined with one another. A vortex of tremendous power that would not be able to appear in this world through any other means.
「–––––– Oh, the light of the Origin! Manifest yourself! For I am the boundary between the light and the dark! A medium that shall reveal the logic of the gays past to the current world!」
The name of this sword is apparently the “Sword of Light and Dark Paradox”. And even though the sword should be an inorganic matter, it was now growing even bigger and bigger, absorbing energy and growing like a living organism would.
And as it grew, it started to change shape into that of a circle. And the energy of this circle was so great that everything around it was now gradually being sucked inside of it, as if becoming compressed.
The Golden Dragon King was paying close attention to the scene that was unfolding in front of his eyes…… and in a moment he almost completely stopped trying to avoid what was coming.
「MY NAME IS SIEGWURM! I AM THE GREAT MASTERPIECE OF DOCTOR SIWOR LINDWORM, A BIOLOGICAL COMBAT UNIT DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO INCINERATE THE LIGHT OF THE ORIGIN UNTIL NONE OF IT IS LEFT IN THIS WORLD! AND THAT IS WHY I SHALL NOT RUN AWAY FROM IT! I SHALL ACCEPT IT HEAD ON!!!」
There is a bright shine that starts to fill up Siegwurm’s mouth completely. And seeing that much determination coming from the Golden Dragon King…… Saiga-0 would lie if she were to say that she was not intimidated by that at least one bit. However, she had no choice but to go forward. So she had to crush that determination with her own determination.
It took a whole lot of enhanced buff magic in order for Saiga-0 to stand her ground and not stand back. Thinking about it logically, it must have been the work of the older Saiga sister, who in the meantime managed to gather some support casters in one place and they have started to work their magic on Saiga-0. It was a last minute effort here, but the one that was not without meaning. And in a moment we were all about to see if it paid off or not.
Even if you tried to look at the sky, you would not be able to see it anymore because of the gathering of dark clouds that converged onto this location. The blue flame that was considered to be strongest out there, the black thunder, and the dark blue light have already managed to blot out the light of dawn that could be seen on the horizon.
But even so, none of the combatants thought about retreating from here.
In order to use that attack properly, Rei has to satisfy three distinct conditions.
One of them is that she has to intone the whole chant, without shortening it or omitting any part.
One of them is that the special “Balance Gauge” this sword of hers possesses needs to be set to equally fifty percent on each side.
And one of them is that the special “Erosion” status the invoker of the spell possesses has to be at a value of one hundred or even greater.
Only upon satisfying all those three conditions the spell can be used at its full potential.
And now that all of them have been successfully satisfied…… The double helix of black and white, the spiral of paradox, starts to shine bright.
「This is the myth of the bizarre, a corrosion eating away at me…… “ZEND AVESTA”!!!」
