「Whoa now! It looks like the Masked Hannya and No Face finally managed to bump into one another! So, with the Valkyrie being present as well, does that mean we get to witness a three-way fight from the very beginning!?」
「Oh my, I certainly did not expect something like that to happen so soon. What an unexpected turn of events during the very first minutes! However, it seems that at the current moment the odds are stacked heavily against Dust in general. I wonder what is he going to do now?」
With the AR technology displaying what was currently happening around Chaos City in real time, it seems that both Sasahara Eight and Katsu are going to be responsible for the commentary during this event.
「The information that I have on display here states that Dust is a type of character who stands in between a Seeker Type and a Fixer Type. So fighting someone like a Valkyrie would put him at a tremendous disadvantage here. And that is without mentioning the truth that is known to everyone: you don’t want to allow the battle against the Valkyrie to prolong for too long, unless your aim is to taste defeat in a truly unsightly fashion. And it is something that cannot be avoided or turned around, no matter how great of a player skill one might possess!」
「But when it comes to Dust, one also has to keep a close eye on the number of bullets that they have left to use, right? This also means that Dust would want to settle for a short skirmish without having to take part in a long-lasting war of attrition……」
「Hmm, this is just an extreme hypothesis on my end, but you can fill up your Villain gauge quite a lot and really fast just by harassing random NPCs, right? However, even if Dust’s bullets may be extremely powerful, his fighting potential in close quarters is extremely weak, not to mention that wasting bullets on a minion such as Valkyrie is something that any player would like to avoid as much as possible. But storing them away and saving them for fiercer opponents is not the way to go as well in here.」
Because Dust is a character of the dualistic nature, the fact that he possesses two separate gauges forces him to constantly switch the nature of his actions. One moment he needs to perform good deeds, only to switch into performing acts of absolute Villainy the very next moment. And if he is not doing those two completely separate things, he has no other way of replenishing the number of bullets that he can use at any given time. That being said, the dualistic nature of Dust’s action is not the problem here. The problem here is that the two opponents that No Face is facing right now can be both attributed to the Villain category. This means that while it will be easy for him to replenish the Hero bullets, he would soon find himself running low on the Evil bullets, with no actual or effective way of replenishing their amount.
「There is also one more point for concern: Dust is still a fairly new character. He has been added to the game only recently, alongside the newest update. Because of that, the players had very little time to fully explore his mechanics and strategies, and at the current point in time the most efficient way of accumulating both gauges at the same time is unknown to the general public. But if we were to delve into his backstory and behaviors in the comic book series, Dust is a character who pays very little attention to collateral damage and his surroundings once he decides that there is a great evil in front of him that needs to be cleansed. So maybe that could be at least a small clue towards finding that most efficient strategy? But this would also imply that he would not willingly stoop so low as to commit crimes and atrocities in order to achieve the goal he set himself up to accomplish……」
「Ah! It seems that while we were talking, there’s been some sort of a new development on the battlefield! It looks like the situation is starting to change quite rapidly! …… And while we are on the subject, where exactly did the Silver Mask go?」
「If you are looking for the Silver Mask, I saw her going backstage. And if my memory serves me correctly, she’s been muttering something about stuffing her face full of something delicious while she was at it. So there you have it, I guess.」

When you get down to it, the basic strategy behind Dust’s playstyle essentially boils down to: “Just do whatever you want in order to fill up those gauges of yours and then blast away with your guns without any care in the world”.
If the way for Dust to replenish his bullets was directly connected to his super move or ultimate move, then he would have been an absolute shit tier character in my honest opinion. That is exactly why I am oh so grateful that this is not the case here and that it can be done in some other way. However, even with knowing all that, this cannot go on for much longer. If I don’t start to strategize appropriately and just go and run around like some sort of lunatic, then fighting back will become impossible here, and I will have to kiss that sweet victory goodbye. That is why I needed a plan, and I needed one like right now here!
「What’s wrong, what’s wrong, you Hannya-faced bastard!? Weren’t you saying that you are only going to be using Cursed Prison during this match!? Already backing away on your own words, aren’t ya!? Some Professional Gamer you are, let me tell you!」
「Guh, you surely seem like someone who likes to talk a whole lot, huh!? Not to mention that those are some serious fighting words that keep coming out of your mouth!」
However, even though the tone of her voice seems to be brute and rough, her behavior all this time was the epitome of calmness. It was truly quite a troublesome combination, especially if someone like that was supposed to be my opponent.
When it comes to W Delta, the three characters that constitute a team are called “All-Fighters”. They are each individual, but all of their strengths and weaknesses constitute to form a team, giving it its respective strengths and weaknesses alike. So if we try to think about this thing logically, once you manage to take at least one member of the enemy team out, then their entire team’s battle potential is going to be reduced by one third. It’s just a simple calculation.
However, the formation of Amelia Sullivan’s battle party this round is especially nasty. By placing Miss Play Display, alias Shit TV—Head on the frontline, she was able to capitalize on the security cameras that were placed all over the city, making planning and surprise attacks that much harder for me to pull them off…… But seeing that the other two characters of her party were all Heavyweights, it can be easily said that Amelia Sullivan treats the Shit TV as someone who can easily be discarded if need be.
