Anear the southern spurs of the holy mountain, at the Reùlingen encampments. There they lingered: braves embattled and broken. On the mountain had they marched; with the 2nd had they vied; and at the last, a grievous blow had they been dealt. With further battle made futile, they had then scattered down the slopes, frantic in their defeat, yielding all the steps and all the ground so bought with blade and blood—till upon Déu Tsellin proper they were no longer.
And so did they sit in sombre and silence; their thousands once so thunderous, now reduced to a dithering throng. Some pondered how large the camp now seemed. How empty. And how quiet. Indeed, it was a lamentable moment for them all, to say the very least. But most lamentable was one corner of the camp, whereupon was

Hæleþmund
(Language: Old English; original name: “Collision Carve”) “Hero-hand”. Wind-elemental ensorcellment. Veils the hands in veritable vortexes of wind, crushing and ripping apart whatsoever they touch with utter extremes of air pressure. The æ vowel is pronounced with an a sound, as in “apple” or “angry”. The þ consonant is pronounced with an unvoiced th sound, as in “think” or “thumb”.
Sċeaþatán
(Language: Old English; original name: “Lightning”) “Harm-twig”; “scather-twig”. Levin-elemental battle magick. A spell in the form of lightning strikes, summoned out of thin air. Shocks, cauterises, and potentially electrocutes on impact. The sċ consonant is pronounced with a sh sound, as in the words “shield” and “shine”. The þ consonant is pronounced with an unvoiced th sound, as in “think” or “thumb”.
