When the wall before them groaned open, Noah burst into tears of joy.

But the moment he saw the strange beasts prowling outside, his tears dried up instantly.

They were four-legged Inhumans, each the size of two horses. Light brown fur covered their bodies, and their front legs had been replaced with thick, solid spears. Even more grotesque, dozens of swords jutted from their backs, forming a bristling array of blades.
Over a dozen of these monstrous creatures poured into the enclosed space, lunging forward by driving their spear forelegs into the ground to anchor themselves, then kicking off with powerful hind legs.
