Old Sword – Part 06

Lisa approached her cautiously and asked, “Um… I’m sorry if I’m mistaken, but… do you need something from me?”

The tall woman, looking down at her from above, raised one eyebrow slightly.

Then she opened her mouth and spoke in a deep, gut-rumbling voice.

“I don’t have business with you, but you caught my attention.”

“Huh…”

Caught her attention? Lisa wondered what she meant by that.

Lately, she’d spent her days forging with the sacred swordsmiths from the Militant Nation, and her nights talking with them about what was needed to complete the Sacred Sword. Sometimes she got so absorbed in her work and their discussions that she even forgot to wash up. Maybe she smelled a little. She subtly sniffed under her arm.

“Um, when you say I caught your attention… in what way exactly?”

“Your body.”

So I do smell?!

“Girl. I want to ask you something.”
