This will probably be the final battle.

Everyone here, not just Cecily, sensed it. A direct confrontation between humanity and the worst Inhuman in the continent’s history. The outcome would decide everyone’s fate—whether the continent would end or survive.

The sky burned crimson. Unstable Aetheria had brought on abnormal weather—thunder rumbled, meteors rained down from the sky. Small streaks of light traced paths across the heavens.

Against the backdrop floated the massive silhouette of Valbanill. And atop the giant dragon stood Siegfried.

His goal remained a mystery. Even Augustus, his collaborator, didn’t know exactly what he intended to do by controlling the dragon.

But one thing was certain: Siegfried sought destruction.
