Horatio, wielder of an Infernal Blade. If there were Inhuman weapons here, he had to be close. Luke looked across the river and found him easily.
He stood apart from both the bridge, where the fighting raged, and the Inhuman horde. That must’ve been why no one had noticed him right away. Now that they’d left the forest, he wore neither goggles nor mask. His face was fully visible—handsome even from a distance, with wild hair and a scruffy beard like some wandering swordsman. He looked the same as he had in the volcano cave.
What’s he doing by himself? Luke wondered.
Horatio raised a long sword above his head. A chill ran down Luke’s spine.
“That motherfucker!”
The bastard sword Infernal Blade, Francisca, slammed into the ground.
