Well, Jericho was the one who fought the hardest in this current battle, so the fact that he actually managed to Level Up was no surprise to me.
All I had to do now was to recover our lost HP with spells and we were pretty much done here.
The stat which rose with Jericho’s Level Up was VIT.
The one I chose to increase with that Bonus Point was STR.

It’s not another Murder Hippo, but something else entirely.
And by something else, I mean just as scary!
There are four of them.
Mace worked nicely against them, but they were still pretty tough to deal with.
When one of the blew my attack away with a swing of its tail, I honestly thought I was going to die.
But we somehow managed to pull through.
The best way of fighting them was to stop them from opening their mouths, filled wit rows of razor-sharp teeth.
I dodged the incoming attack, got to the side of the Alligator’s head, grabbed its mouth firmly with both my arms and continued to hold it down.
Then using the power of Rampage, I managed to execute a throw on the damn thing.
Who would have thought that the throwing techniques are going to be effective against the enemy such as this?
Then, to finish it off I dug one of my Hidden Claws right between its eyeballs. It continued to thrash about for a few moments before it finally died.
Good grief.
Just give me a break here!
It seems that the rest of my monsters managed to defeat the other three Alligators without running into too much trouble.
In hindsight, I initially thought they were tougher, but the Alligators are actually easier to fight against than Murder Hippos.

It was manageable, but all that fighting was tougher than I would have liked.
The current time is 11:30 PM.
Looks like none of my monsters will Level Up tonight.
And I got very little Drop Items as well.

In that aspect, I like fighting against Deva King Much more.
But Heroic Spirit was fine as well.

As for this swampy area, I can also handle pull my own weight against the Lizardmen if only during the daytime.
But Mammoths and Skeleton Mammoths are still a no-go.
Their size alone makes them an enemy whom I rather not fuck with unless it would be absolutely necessary.
