That was rather unexpected.
Well, I was having a good time using my poison weapons, but I wasn’t working at full capacity.
Was it really okay for me to get a level-up?
Oh well, I just had to be grateful for it now.

The Summon Magic level-up meant that I could get myself another Summon Monster too, huh.
I suppose I could save that joy for right before logging out.
My main priority was to pick up another Light Quartz Dagger.
I wanted to test the hypothesis that at higher levels, it was going to be easier for me to get those sweet item drops.
Although I had a feeling it was mostly just my own imagination.
Maybe my【Disassembly】skill was just taking a long vacation.

Well, the monsters were strong, so maybe that played a part too.
The stat that went up with Romulus’s level-up was AGI.

But just in case, it would be good to check out all the different options.

I took a moment to calm down.
First off, who was on my Summon Monster team?
I had Volff, Shishiku, Tigris, Gengetsu, and Romulus.
I tried using Fusion Identification on all of my Summon Monsters in turn.
Which one was most likely to be the other Summon Monster…
The only other Summon Monster that came to mind was Gengetsu, and soon afterwards, I confirmed it by using Fusion Identification on him.
Alright…
What should I do?
I was raising Romulus and Remus with the sole intention of trying to get myself an Orthros.
It was all going according to plan.
Would it really be okay to derail that and use Fuse Monsters right now?
It was a very difficult choice.
But first up was Romulus.
Before anything else, I had to go through with the Class Change into a Black Wolf.
I stopped worrying about everything for a moment.
If I had enough time to worry, I had enough time to grind out more experience points.
And so as always, instead of worrying about it, I decided to just go for it.
I removed all of Romulus’s equipment, and then selected and started casting the spell.
「Fuse Monsters!」
I selected Gengetsu and Romulus from the menu.
Alright…
What was the result going to look like?
Magic circles appeared beneath Gengetsu and Romulus.
The two Summon Monsters slowly disappeared into a bright mist, while a new Summon Monster appeared in the gap between the two.

Well, I knew it was a Werewolf, but I couldn’t see too clearly what it looked like just yet.
I blinked a few times, and then finally got to see what it looked like.
It wasn’t a wolf.
It looked like a young human man.
I had the impression that he was on the thin side, but not to the point that he looked malnourished.
If there was any adjective I could use to describe him, I would use the word “fearless”.
But for the time being, I gave him a coat to cover himself.
My new Werewolf was completely naked, after all.
But there was something else I had to decide on before that.
What should I name this guy?

A Fusion Summon Monster that dwells in the darkness.

It can freely transform between its wolf and human form.
Is able to perform well in various situations, both during daytime and at night.
I decided on a name.
But in any case… What was I going to do with Ouma?
He looked like an ordinary man, but he still had the Bite skill.
