The consensus that we came to was that we were going to head to the Wind Spirit Village.
Even if we were to go at full speed with our horses, it would take us a day to get there.
But I had a fly spell.
I had a feeling we could make it.
There was definitely a chance of success.
The aim of going to the Wind Spirit Village in the first place was, of course, to shorten travel times.
With Adele, we could go back to the Grey Forest in an instant.
If Irina were to log out at the Wind Spirit Village, it would be a very convenient shortcut for us.
Especially since at the moment, most of Fiona’s Production Job Guild Players were in the Wind Spirit Village.
There were various things I wanted to ask for from them.
What did my Summon Monster line-up look like?
Helix, Obsidian, Heather, Couturier, and Gengetsu.
But Helix, Obsidian, and Gengetsu were missing quite big chunks from their MP bars.
Oh well, we were just going to be moving anyway.
It was unlikely that we were going to encounter any high-level monsters.
What about Adele?
She had a Mystic Eye, a Fighting Falcon, a Fairy, and an Imp.
Oh, and she had a Red Fox too…
I could only spot part of its head buried in Adele’s chest.
I didn’t really see a point in purposely summoning the maximum number of Summon Monsters at once, but it wouldn’t hurt.
What about Irina?
She had a Battle Hawk, a Greater Crow, a Pixie, a Fairy, and an Imp.
I suppose the team made sense…
We all formed a Union.
I first used Magnetic Compass to check where we were.
What direction were we aiming to head in?
Northwest.
I cast the fly spell and we all started floating.
Of course, that included Adele and Irina.
They actually seemed quite comfortable in the air.
「Well then, shall we get going?」

『I’m good.』
Helix took the lead.
Right behind Helix were me and Adele on one side, and Irina on the other side.
Our Summon Monsters took places behind us.
It was the v-shape formation that geese would take when they migrated.
I had heard from somewhere that flying in that manner made their flight more efficient.
Well, I wasn’t too concerned about that…
I just knew there were monsters that could attack us in the air too.
With our formation, we would always be ready for mid-air combat.
The time was exactly 1 pm.
Throughout the whole S3 map, we didn’t run into a single monster.
I sometimes saw some Crimson Peacocks, but they didn’t attack us.
We didn’t really want to start a fight either, so we ignored them.
We wanted to prioritise movement.
It was then that I checked my Wide-area Map again.
We were on the S2W1 map.
From where we were, it looked like we were in the middle of the wilderness.
We were probably closer to the S2 and S1W1 maps.

Of all the monsters that we encountered in the S2W1 map, I only managed to use 【Identify】 on one of them.
It didn’t show any signs of wanting to attack us.
In any case, it felt very strange, passing over random players on the ground.
The time was around 1:30 pm.
We passed over the Butterfly Plateau, the Area Portal of the map.
And then, around 2:10 pm, we entered the S1W2 map.
Um…
I suppose that meant it would take us about 70 minutes to cross a map at the diagonal angle…
I knew that at full speed we were going at about 130km/h.
So in other words, each map was about a 100km square?
The number made sense to me.
But in any case, the S1W2 looked very nostalgic.
I looked down to see grassy plains.
I had a bitter memory of the place too.
It was the place where Volff was first taken out.
I also recalled having a very tough time with Sturmtigers on my first time on the map.

I couldn’t tell how many of them there were.
My vision was dyed red with monster markers.
Helix, Obsidian, and Couturier quickly broke formation.
Helix and Obsidian shot blades of wind, and Heather showered lightning strikes like rain on the bees.
The other flying Summon Monsters also spread out, picking off any weak monsters.
Ooh!
I was quite tempted to just sit back and watch my Summon Monsters go to work.
Gengetsu responded to the swarm of bees that suddenly attacked Irina from the front.
With a wall spell not unlike Dimension Mirror, Gengetsu sent the bees flying back in the opposite direction.
More than 10 bees attacked one another and fell one after another.

I had a feeling using a spell like Fire Storm would be a good idea.
But there were already a lot of bees rushing head-first into the wall of fire.
Half of them simply fell to the ground after that.

I realised that the Area Portal of the S1W2 map, the Tower of Condemnation, was just underneath us.

Irina could be tough at times too!
Well, I was okay with either option.
We passed the Tower of Condemnation and kept flying north.
At the pace we were going at, we could reach the Wind Spirit Village within an hour.
The time was 3:40 pm.
After the bee attack, we were able to keep moving without being attacked by any other monsters.
That meant that in total, it would take us about 3 hours from the centre of the S3 map, the Grey Forest, to fly to the centre of the W2 map and the Wind Spirit Village…
3 hours… As long as there were no monsters to distract the flight.
We did fly diagonally through some maps on the way, but that meant it only took us about 3 hours to clear 5 maps?
It was a scary speed.
We finally arrived at the very familiar Wind Spirit Village.
I almost couldn’t believe it.

Yep, I completely agreed with Irina.
It must’ve been quite annoying for them, being unable to get the skill when they needed it, and being able to get the skill when they no longer needed it.

It seemed like both of them decided to learn【Cold Resistance】before entering the Wind Spirit Village.
