「Five Element Seal!」
I used the spell at the Stone Fairies.
As soon as I used the spell, I had to dodge a fist and swing my mace at the nearest Stone Golem Slave again.
I looked up to check the red marker above the Stone Fairy’s head.
Did it work?
It looked like it worked.
That was a very nice sight to see.
The battle was starting to lighten up a little bit for us.
But it was just a slight breakthrough.
「Regenerate!」
The battle was still very much ongoing.
None of us had to take direct hits yet, but there were a lot of scratches that were starting to accumulate.
I had to make sure I was properly healing everyone too.
What did the situation look like?
Somehow, Telomere managed to shoot down two of the Stone Fairies, and the other two were already under the effect of Five Element Seal, blocking off all special abilities.
With that, all we had to do was slowly apply pressure until we could defeat them.
The number of Gargoyles flying in the sky was halved too.
I used Lower DEF on all of the remaining Gargoyles in the sky.
Maybe we could finally catch our breath a bit?
Nope. By no means.
Those Stone Golem Slaves were still just as tough as ever.
The Nue’s lightning strikes didn’t work so well on them either.
Even the fire breath attacks from the Chimera and the Orthros were not very effective.
But after some time, I finally managed to take down one of them.
A big reason behind why I was able to do that was Hyodor’s spirit, Zoom.
Hyodor’s spirit couldn’t keep it up for long, but Zoom was an incredible tank as I kept moving forward to apply more pressure on the Stone Golem Slaves.
Of course, Zoom acting as a tank also allowed me to focus more on attacking.
Zoom’s support was amazing.
I managed to completely destroy one ankle and one knee from out of one of the Stone Golem Slaves.
After I managed to cause it to fall onto the ground, I could leave the rest to my Summon Monsters. They all converged on the Stone Golem Slave on the ground, quickly finishing it off.
The spell Lower DEF was also doing a lot to accelerate that process.
But it was still an unbelievable sight to see such a big monster, a giant lump of rocks collapse onto the ground.
After they were finished off, the rocks that made up the bodies of the Gargoyles and the Stone Golem Slaves were scattered as rubble all around the plateau.
What about the Gargoyles in the sky?
They were all gone.
There were only three Stone Golem Slaves left.
Their plan of surrounding us had also failed, and we managed to regain some space to breathe.
「Stone Wall!」
It was definitely something worth checking out.
A dirt wall appeared to block the Stone Golem Slave from moving forward.
As expected…
I had no idea what kind of special ability it was…
But with that, I had no doubts that the Stone Fairy was blocking Earth Magic somehow.
That meant that it would be possible for me to use Pitfall.
But that would still be an issue for me.
It wouldn’t be very safe either to get so close to deliver any hits to those Stone Golem Slaves even if they were inside a pitfall.
『Earth Heal!』

『Gravity Bullet!』
『Wind Cutter!』
Everyone else also started using their own spells at their own discretion.
It wasn’t like we were completely out of the forest yet though.
But our Clay Golem and Mud Golem stood in front of the Stone Golem Slaves, blocking their way .
As expected, they couldn’t win a one-on-one wrestle, but it seemed like with support from everyone else, they were somehow holding their ground.
Another Stone Golem Slave fell to the ground, and our Summon Monsters quickly converged on it.
Yep.
I could leave that to them.
I had to deal with another Stone Golem Slave in front of me.
I was no longer holding my Snow Beast Mace in my right hand.
I decided to switch to my Vajra Sword.
Even though the Dust Magic blade seemed a little weak, it was still strong enough to do damage to the monster’s HP bar.
What happened to the Snow Beast Mace?
I managed to lose my grip on it, and it flew off somewhere.
I would have to pick it up again later.
I was also not holding the tonfa in my left hand anymore.
The tonfa simply shattered and the pieces scattered on the ground after I used it to block a punch during the battle.
I switched it to another Vajra Sword in my left hand.
That Lava Magic blade was even better in that it wasn’t just cutting down the monster’s HP bar.
It also had the effect of lowering the defence of the Stone Golem Slaves.
A dual-wield style with two Vajra Swords, huh?
It was fun.
Although there were several times when I thought I was going to get hit hard…
But it was still fun.
I couldn’t help but just have fun using two swords at once.
The second last Stone Golem Slave fell, and our Summon Monsters converged on it again. In no time, it was taken out.
Glancing at my Summon Monsters getting to work, I felt a strange urge to hurry.
This is bad…
I had to finish the battle as soon as possible.
There was only one Stone Golem Slave left.
We were finally in a position where we could keep the upper hand!
That might have been quite selfish of me though.
But I wanted to fight at least one Stone Golem Slave all by myself.
When I managed to finally defeat it, I looked behind me to see Adele and the other Summoners, along with all of our Summon Monsters just watching the fight.
Well, whatever.
At the end of the day, we managed to win the battle.
《Grudges gather here as well.》

That was all for the info screens.
We won.

It wasn’t that many Bonus Points, considering the danger that we had to go through together.
But then again, I hadn’t found a good use for them, so they were just accumulating anyway.
There were a lot of level-ups for my skills, so I had no complaints.

The stat that went up with Senki’s level-up was AGI.
I put another point into DEX.

I wasn’t the only one to get some good fruits from that battle.
Naturally, everyone else got some level-ups too.
I watched the situation while I spent some time healing my Summon Monsters.
It really brought a smile to my face.
Hyodor’s situation was the easiest to understand.
It looked like he managed to get a Job level-up.
I wasn’t sure, but I had a feeling his Racial level and his Summon Magic level also levelled up after the battle.
Well, I could ask him again once everyone calmed down.
Adele’s, Konohana’s, and Hyodor’s MP bars were almost completely exhausted.
Irina and Haruna had MP bars which were below 20%.
What about me?
My MP bar was at less than 40%.
How did I manage to lose so much of it…?
I was so engrossed in the battle that I didn’t know what my MP bar looked like.
What time was it?
It was about 8:30 pm.
Hmm?
How long did the fight take for us?
It seemed like it was at least an hour?
It was a fierce battle like never before.
No doubt about it.
Of course, we were in no shape to keep pressing further.
I hurried up everyone else, picked up my Snow Beast Mace and we left the Area Portal.
As soon as we left the Area Portal, I deployed an Instant Portal.
We were finally able to relax!
「None of our Summon Monsters died, right?」
『Strangely, yes…』
「Did any of us take any status penalties?」
『Some of my Summon Monsters did… But they’ll be fine tomorrow, so no issues there!』
That was good.
What about my Summon Monsters?
They all looked fine.
But Telomere’s MP bar dropped by quite a large amount in just one battle.
I wasn’t surprised.
She didn’t get to suck any blood, after all.
As expected, it wasn’t possible for her to absorb MP from the Stone Golem Slaves.
I would be quite terrified if Telomere managed to find a way to do it!
