Chapter 159 – The Great Naval Purge
Starting from June 7, 1930, a de facto purge swept through the Imperial Japanese Navy.
This was the beginning of what later became known as The Great Naval Purge.
And almost simultaneously, the Tanaka Giichi Cabinet effectively collapsed.

That was the genuine reflection left years later by Prince Fushimi Hiroyasu.
On the day after June 7, Prince Fushimi took responsibility in effect, officially citing illness as the reason for stepping down from active duty and requesting transfer to the reserve.
That single act alone made clear just how furious The Emperor had been.
The main reason for The Emperor’s anger was simple: He had already listened to Hara (Hara Kei) explain everything thoroughly and had approved the disarmament plan
