Etora laughed teasingly but Kazuki didn’t find it funny. If he was considered the big brother that would place him on something equal to Glacious and that was impossible.

“Etora you joke but my power is nothing compared to yours let alone his. I just happened to be able to help you this time. What I find strange though is the fact you got sick in the first place. I thought you could eat anything.”

Etora shook his head.

“Guess I’m not invincible, hehe. Azirian doesn’t seem to sit well with my stomach. Enough about me though, I didn’t see Shin nor Big brother, or Fera. Plus, up in the sky, it seems someone is enjoying the show.”

Kazuki and the others glanced up and saw a huge white palace floating in the sky. As soon as they saw it, they recognized it as the Garns.

“Shit, even that false hero is here.”

*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!*

A deep roar echoed out from the abyssal trench and Reya and two other fused Azirian’s flew out and landed on the ground.

Their eyes and the thousands that covered their bodies glowed a dark demonic red.

“Kazuki, now do you see the truth? That was only a portion of my master’s power. Had she been here in the flesh and she would have turned this entire continent upside down with ease. You cannot escape your fate. No one in this world can resist master’s power. Even that tall bastard is no more.”

Reya and the two other Azirian’s took a step forward threateningly. The hundreds of arms attached to their bodies outstretched and formed fleshy spears and blades.

At the same time, Etora slowly stood up. Kazuki tried to stop him but Etora ignored him.

Walking in front of Kazuki and the others, Etora held a large grin and laughed.

*Hahahahahahahaha!*

“You think that cloudy bitch can kill my big brother. You know nothing of a dragon’s tenacity.”

Reya was weary of Etora. She thought he was out of commission after that whole ordeal but he’s already back up. She couldn’t tell if he was a real tiger or one made of paper. Every time she felt as though things would be easy, one obstacle after the other stood in her way.

Reya observed Etora cautiously. Though he put up a tough front, his skin was pale and he seemed unsteady on his feet.

(Should I try?)

*FWHOOOOOSH*

A gush of wind picked up and clouds once more formed a large face in the sky.

“Glacious, that was quite a strong attack but like I said it is meaningless. No matter how many times you destroy the bodies, they are only physical representations that my mind possesses. I will come back again and again. Submit to me now or I will destroy you!”

Fera looked around but could not find even a trace of Glacious’s shadow.

Up in the sky above her, Garn and the other kings watched this situation unfold. As soon as Tobern saw Fera appear he felt fear.

“This woman. For her to create such a manifestation, isn’t she a 7th stage Mage? Who…Who in the world could this godly figure be and she says she’s trying to get Glacious to submit. What exactly didn’t we stumble upon!?”

Garn saw the face in the sky and recognized it immediately.

“Fera!”

Brian turned to Garn.

“Kazuki’s older sister?”

Garn’s eyes narrowed as he felt annoyed about how informed Brian was.

“So you know that as well.”

Brian nodded but Tobern was confused.

“What, you two know that powerhouse. Who in the world is she and why has she come to our continent. Don’t tell me she wants our territories.”

Brian shook his head and explained briefly. Everything he said was nearly identical to what Garn knew. This left Garn feeling slightly paranoid but whatever he felt on the inside he did his best not to show on the outside.

As Tobern listened to all of this, He became increasingly incensed.

“Garn! You knew all about this and didn’t inform us of any of it. Are you trying to save the world or kill it. Not only have you pursued Kazuki and tried to kill him, but you also kept all of these things from us. If we were informed, we could have made ample preparations.”

Garn smirked.

“And what would you have done, huh? What could you do?”

“Hmph, more than you. You’ve been so damn obsessed with this floating heap of junk, that you’ve let Azirian’s into your own backyard and even a 7th stage bastard. Why didn’t you simply trick Kazuki into believing that you wouldn’t kill him. Then come personally and capture him and then trade him to his sister. The treasures a 7th stage Mage holds, the value must be priceless.”

“What! you would have me trade with someone who is in line with Azirian’s. Someone who obviously controls them. This woman may be the reason entirely as to why Azirian’s have appeared on the Feya continent in the first place and you would have me trade with humanity’s enemy. Are you out of your mind?”

Tobern was about to retort when Brian jumped ahead of him.

“So what should be done then. Fera is indeed in line with the Azirian’s but we can’t be sure she’s connected with the Azirian’s that have been crossing from the west of Feya. No, forget that, even if she’s not with them, she has Azirian’s under her already, and as you said that makes her humanity’s enemy. Sh then how do we go about removing such a blight from our continent.”

“Boy King, you…”

“I What!? Are you really saying you want to cut deal with the enemy. If so tell me now so I know where your allegiance lies and we can settle things much simpler. Otherwise, Fera is to be destroyed.”

Tobern went quiet. His greed had gotten ahead of him. Fera really was an enemy and he had stated he wanted to make a deal with her. He felt crazy and stupid for a moment and wondered what had overcome him.

Garn on the other hand stared down at Kazuki. Right now, Kazuki was defenseless in his eyes. Glacious was nowhere to be seen and Etora seemed shaky. With his weapon, he wondered if he could deal with Etora. Etora was around the 6th or 7th stage but he could not be dealt with by normal means. Etora could drain magical energy and consume it directly but at the same time, Garn had seen Etora become sick just a moment ago. He theorized it was because Etora had consumed far too much energy. If that were the case, Garn was confident he could overfeed Etora and weaken him. Afterward, it should be a breeze to kill him and Kazuki.

Brian followed Garn’s line of sight and could see the dangerous light in Garn’s eyes.

“Garn, is it worth it?”

“What.”

“I can see it. You still wish to kill Kazuki and I’m asking you is it worth it? Say you do kill him then what? That girl down there with the blonde hair, do you know who she is?”

Garn spotted Nunully and snorted.

“That’s the halfbreed that ran away with Kazuki and the others, what about her?”

“Her name is Nunully. She has feelings for Kazuki and is the godchild of Glacious. Her mother, Lamia is not related by blood but Glacious considers her to be his younger sister. I wasn’t alive at the time but the stories have been passed down. The dragon who slew nearly his entire clan because they killed his lover. Even when they fled and hid throughout the continent, Glacious still found them and hunted them down one by one. Only by fleeing to the higher realms were the remnants of his clan able to escape with their lives. Do you get it? You kill Kazuki, then Nunully cries to her mother who cries to Glacious. It all comes back on your head. You say this weapon of yours can take out anything below the 7th stage but what about the 7th stage specifically. Are you telling me you are 100% confident you can kill Glacious with this. If so, then by all means take your petty revenge. Because that’s what heroes do, right?”

Garn heard those words echoing in his head.

(Because that’s what heroes do, right?.)

The sarcasm was obvious and Garn knew he said it like that on purpose. Garn closed his eyes for a moment and his mind was flooded with thoughts. At the same time, Fera could still find no sign of Glacious and turned her attention to Kazuki and flew over, appearing above them in an instant.

“Kazuki, it seems your savior is no longer here to protect you. I can’t sense him at all, I guess he’s already disappeared from this world. Though it is a shame as I would have liked to have added him to my collection I guess it can’t be helped. Kazuki what’s the matter. It’s been more than 10 years since we’ve seen one another. is this how you greet your older sister?”

Etora stood in front of Kazuki and guarded him but Kazuki knew there was no point and brushed past him.

“Kazuki, what are you doing stay back.”

“No, I shouldn’t have gotten you involved.”

Nunully tried to grab Kazuki by the waist but before she got too close, Kazuki gave her a fierce side glance which said don’t come here. Nunully froze on the spot. If Nunully got too close to him, Kazuki was afraid Fera would see that as a sign the two were close and she may kill Nunully just because.

Asuna as well tried to block Kazuki’s path but Sam grabbed her and pulled her back.

Kazuki stood in front and glared hatefully up at Fera.

Fera smiled seeing this look.

“Ah, that’s the face, you glared at me similarly on the day mother took Kai’s life. do you remember the pained expression he had. The agony of having your mage core ripped from your body, the excruciating feeling he must have suffered before mother stabbed him in the chest. The entire time he must have wondered why, why the betrayal, why the torturest death. What a wonderful day that was. There’s still one thing that irritates me to no end though. You yourself had your core stolen from you. Your magic was all but gone, yet somehow you escaped. Not only did you escape, you ended up in another world entirely. Tell me little brother, just how exactly did you do it?”
