Episode 70: The Fruits of Effort
A month has passed since our break in Spica City.

Brad-san was our scout, Gai-san and I took the front line, Selen-sama handled mid-range, and Mystique-sensei covered the rear, mirroring the Team A setup.
By having Selen-sama experience this formation, it would help her when she has to lead her own team during the monster extermination training.
「For this dungeon attack, I’ll be the leader, so watch closely what I do, alright? I’ll leave the detection of the lower floors to you!」
「Got it.」
And so, the dungeon exploration began.
Having spent a month working together as a party, we moved through the dungeon with ease and quickly reached the boss room on the fifth floor.
After a short rest in the safety zone, we swiftly defeated the boss and continued on.
From the sixth floor, we encountered orcs, and we took a bit of extra time to let Selen-sama familiarize herself with sensing the difference in presence.
Once she got the hang of it, we advanced smoothly, reaching the boss room on the tenth floor, where we decided to camp for the night.
The next morning, we started with the boss room. Waiting for us were an Orc Emperor and Orc Generals, but Mystique-sensei took them down with a single spell.
We continued our dungeon exploration and, by the final day, reached the boss room on the thirtieth floor.
According to the Hunter’s Guild records, no one had cleared the boss room before, so we hesitated, thinking it might cause unwanted attention if we did.
「Yeah, let’s not clear it.」
「I agree. Standing out too much isn’t a good idea.」
「Alright, let’s head back once we’re ready♪」
We quickly packed up, used a teleportation magic circle, and returned to the longhouse, marking the end of our dungeon exploration.
At the same time, our long vacation was also coming to an end, so we would soon be heading back to the imperial capital where the academy is.

After sharing one last embrace before departure, we boarded the carriage and returned to the academy in the imperial capital.
