The clan leaders’ discussion concluded—for now—the following day.

Four clans chose to rebuild Ironforge. Four chose to establish new settlements in the nearby mountains, fearing the volcano. And four chose to leave in search of a more suitable land.

Dodonno’s Red Rat clan chose the second option: the nearby mountains. Dodonno and Dodorono’s uncle planned to return to Ironforge for a while to bury Donovan, whose body remained there. Their mother would accompany them and begin searching for a relocation site afterward.

What surprised people was that the Gold Boar clan, who loved gold, and the Purple Horse clan, known for farming, chose to leave. The Gold Boars hoped to find a place with richer gold veins and had already moved some of their assets to the temporary camp. Selling those would fund their relocation. As for the Purple Horses, their fields were almost completely intact.
