Whether or not you can win even if you fight in the current state is a debatable matter, but I do not wish to take a gamble like that right now. Well, I mean, Goldinine had four giant snakes as her pets, so that at least checks itself out. But Sammy-chan was not even close to their size here. She’s huge, but I’m afraid it won’t be enough to deal with mobile fortresses, suicide bombers and laser shoot ing scorpions that await us outside.

Then, on the contrary, what is the fighting power of the main Goldunine? In fact, could it actually be that she is going to be one of the strongest monsters of this game?

So maybe I should give it a try here? Just to see what would happen?

Basically, NPCs cannot just waltz into you party on their own, and you cannot invite them yourself. So if you want to partner with an NPC, it means that the invitation must come from their end every time……

Okay, so for the time being it seems that those two NPCs came to a conclusion that they want to help me out on my journey here, which is always a good thing. I won’t lie, having more allies with powerful abilities and battle potential is always a welcome thing in my book……

Now who would have thought! What a predicament! Kukuku, forming a battle party together with a robot and a Unique Monster……But wait a minute. Hey! Wait just a god damn minute here!

Umm…… Is it not a kind of a bombshell that’s being dropped right on top of me right now?

「Goldunine…… the Eighth…… Does that mean……?」

「Yup. This means that there is seven of me beside myself for the current moment.」

That’s right, including Sammy-chan the giant snake, the party is going to be as large as four people…… I mean, NO! NOT THAT! Wait just a god damn second here!!! Just HOW MANY sisters do you have, you snake bastard!? Say that to me again!

Goldunine the Eight? THE EIGHTH Goldunine, huh!? So even if we take the two Goldunines that I have already met out of the equation here, it means that there are SIX more of them somewhere out there in the world!? No, wait, something is clearly not right in here. You want me to believe that this thing was born just recently? Seriously? So if we also add that black Tsuchinoko to the bunch, the one that managed to evolve during combat and died almost right after that, that would give us a grand total of nine Goldunines, right? And who knows if there are not more of them somewhere out there in the wilderness, multiplying as we speak……?

Holy shit, this is bad. I mean, holy fuck, this is bad! Like really, really bad! At this rate, if we leave those bastards unchecked and won’t control their population, the world might come to an end as a result of a global crisis! Or even a monster invasion! While we are all worried about dragons in the skies, it might actually be the snakes from the underground that will doom us all.

No, wait just a moment here, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Wouldn’t it make sense if only Goldunine here was special? Not snakes as a general species? But then again, why is it that this Sammy-chan’s performance and stats were so absurdly high all of a sudden? Up until the last possible moment she was unable to be detected by my mask, and if she did not revealed herself I would have probably been dead by now.

It would also mean that for whatever reason Sammy-chan’s stealth camouflage is so potent that it actually exceeds the detection capabilities of my Mask of the Bird-Eye’s View.
