「Alright! Sigma! Emul! We are switching to Plan B right away!」

「And what is Paln B supposed to be again?」

「Plan B, where “B” stands for blood, obviously! From here on out we are going to fight with everything we have without reservation, either until the enemy dies or we die! It makes no difference to me!」

「I will be honest here, it does sound like a strategy, but at the same time it sound more like a suicide attempt rather than anything else……」

「If you want to be a warrior who can respond to any kind of threat and enemy, you must be willing to sometimes forfeit your life in battle or go on a murderous rampage without discerning between a friend or foe……」

「Yeah, seeing how Pencilgton has little to no trouble with turning people into walking time bombs and all that…… But what’s your take on that, Sanraku? Think you would be able to do the same?」

「…… Nah, I think I would not be able to do that. Rather, instead of making others into bombs, I would like to give it my best and then go out in a blaze of glory myself. Preferably in the flashiest way possible, since that would only make it look even more awesome! Maybe not nearly as awesome as ending the Pencilgton dynasty with blowing the whole castle, but it would be something really close to that.」

And it seems that after that great explosion, the castle was never actually rebuilt. Mainly because wood was one of the main ingredients used in its construction, and wood was actually a material that was pretty common object for various looters to collect. So I wonder, if this game was not abandoned and the castle would have been rebuilt, in which direction would this game’s future go? Towards something like Bakumatsu Online? Or maybe……?

「Now confirming the announcement of Plan B going into effect. Reconfirmation required, My Master. We, the Conquest Doll, from now on shall stay close to Master and act according to Master’s instructions. Correct?」

「Yeah, that’s the gist of it. But while we are doing that, what are we going to do with Emul? We could technically leave him here with Rei, but…… Ah, would you like to stay here together with Diale? Or maybe we should drop by the save point first? Or maybe you would like to return to the place where we have originally teleported from?」

「I will stay right here, thank you very much! Besides, our tastes and preferences are way too different now, not that anyone would be interested in hearing about it……!」

Whoa there, the look on Diale’s face right now is that as if he just happened to realize something important…… Yeah, this is exactly what it means, that’s right. You are not mistaken! At the current moment, Emul managed to overcome the greatest obstacle that the NPC can stumble across in their path! He managed to overcome the double digits wall and jump into the three digits territory! Yes, and it all happened while I was leveling up Wimp and doing some digging for those sweet crystal materials……

The current level at which Emul sits right now is one hundred and one. Interestingly enough, getting him from level one hundred to one hundred and one was quite easy and quick to accomplish. But actually getting him to level one hundred was the hard part, as the amount of EXP points he needed was unusually large and it took us a while to get there. That is exactly why I had Emul accompany me to the battles with the Crystal Emperor Scorpions and the Giant Spiders. So that he could accumulate the EXP points with as little risk as possible. And the results of all of that material and EXP farming were all but worth it.

Ahh, this situation…… Right about now, the only thing I can say for sure that I feel towards Diale is this: pity. I’ sure that there would be something else in there as well, but it’s mostly pity.

「Kuuuuuuhhh…… You bastard…… I’m going to kill youuuuu……」

Oh well, this is only my guess at what must be going on in Diale’s heart right now. Because in reality, I have no way of actually knowing what is going on in his head.

I mean, there is no way in hell that everything in this world would stay the same forever. But leaving that matter aside, let’s get back on track here, shall we? The moment when the white firework we up in the air, it was already decided that we shall stick to the Rust’s strategy all the way to the very end. And the end phase of that strategy assumes that we are all to go out is a flashy self—destruct move, so we are still going to die, but at least we are going to do that in style and on our own terms…… And that makes for a huge difference. It’s all about flexibility…… There is nothing better in this world than flexibility……

「Yes, it is time to release the beasts that lie deep within our hearts……」

「But let us try to not die before Rust and Mold actually get here, shall we?」

「Think they will be able to get in here within five minutes’ time?」

「Who knows……? It would certainly be nice if they were able to do that.」

But no matter how the situation develops here, our goals stay largely the same: we are to reduce the number of the Colored Dragons and take down Siegwurm. And unlike my battles with the Crystal Emperor Scorpions, the monsters in here are SO easy to kill, that I’m starting to feel that this battlefield was basically made for me!

Wearing the red crown on his head, Sanraku begins to transform and after the transformation is finally complete, he used one of his six eyes in order to carefully surveil the entire battlefield. Then he took a step forward, filled with confidence and courage.

「Ahh, from now on I’m going to act in a pretty flashy way, so you’d better stay away from me as far as possible. Trust me, it’s for your own good.」

「Are there going to be some damages to the immediate surroundings?」

「I don’t know, and I don’t care. I already gave you the advice, so it’s up to you to decide whether or not you would like to abide by it.」

Now then…… about five minutes. Five minutes, huh? I wonder if it is going to be enough here? The quota here is not the thing that bothers me all that much, but…… Is five minutes really going to be enough for me to fight to my heart’s content and give it my absolute best?

Oh well, whatever happens, happens, I guess. Either way I should be alright here, so there is no need for me to actually worry about it too much.
