ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 470: Dragon, Oh Dragon! PART 47 Part 1

As the light of destruction dances and scatters all over the battlefield, the players from all over the place start to converge upon Siegwurm’s location in order to help in clearing the final trial he imposed onto the combatants.

「So what you are trying to say here is, do you actually know where Siegwurm’s reverse scale is located? Is that it?」

「Yes! That’s right!」

「Huh, is that so…… I see.」

While the new and strangely made-over Akitsu Akane said that with both confidence and enthusiasm in her voice, Pencilgon remained silent and pondered the information she just received from the Ninja. And the reason why she went there at this time? It’s because she noticed that Noirlind was nowhere to be seen.

But then…… Why the hell is Noirlind nowhere to be found? And why is it that Akitsu Akane right now looks so much like that infamous Black Dragon? No matter how hard Pencilgon pondered those two problems, she seemed to be unable to arrive at the proper conclusion or find the answer.

Pencilgon only shrugged her arms, looking as confused as Saiga-100. Meanwhile, Akitsu Akane (?) crossed her arms on her chest and glared at the two newcomers with an arrogant look, baring the fangs inside of her mouth.

「Ahh…… You see, I may look like that, but it is still I, AKitsu Akane! But as a matter of fact, due to the usage of a certain hidden secret technique I have untied myself with Noirlind—san, which resulted in this current appearance of mine!」

「NOW KNEEL BEFORE ME AND BE AMAZED! I’M GOING TO ALLOW IT JUST THIS ONCE!」

「Huh? What’s this? Are all members of the “Wolfgang” like that? Is that some sort of a strange condition you have to meet if you want to join? Are you all just a bunch of nut-jobs like that?」

「No, the only nut—job in our midst is Sanraku-kun, of that you can be sure……」

Right after that there was a loud sound of metal wings fluttering in the air, and Suraku-riding Rust appeared at the scene, preparing for landing and ejecting excess heat from the jet engines located on the wings of her machine.

「…… I saw that you were all gathering in here, so I arrived as fast as I could.」

This conversation got Pencilgon thinking really hard for a moment. Even though Kyogoku was not here since she had her hands quite busy with the siege battle and her opponent Anju, she was also part human and part beast, not a genuine human through and through. Maybe it would be high time for their guild to change their approach to certain things out there?

「So, what are we going to do now? Because we are going to do something, right? But just to let you guys know, I am slowly starting to run out of resources.」

「Katsu, you filthy liar! I believed you! I totally did! You told me that Sanraku would be here! But all I see here are nothing more but some small fries who are not even worth my attention in the slightest!」

「Yeah, yeah, my bad, my bad. We can sort it out later with our first if you want, but give me a break for now, why don’t you? So, I guess that the arrival of the Player Killers was our starting point?」

「The rest is going to be settled by this Holy Spear of mine, I guess……」

「Look at the nerve of this bastard……!」

Then Pencilgon brandishes her spear, first pointing it at Akitsu Akane, then pointing it towards Siegwurm, and then slapping the ground beneath their feet a few times as well.

「Honestly speaking, this is the first time I am dealing with a thing like that, so I’m not even all that sure how I should behave in this situation. But I am more than sure that our dear raging bullet Sanraku-kun has an idea or two on how to stop Siegwurm from suiciding himself to death in an explosion. So I would like for us to cooperate with our efforts so that we can get out of this situation in one piece…… Which means that the little birdie’s help would also be greatly appreciated.」

「Be that as it may, we would still have to deal with that absurd physical defense of his, as well as that damned laser shooting in every possible direction like mad. Think you can do something about it, Sil…… I mean, Argent Owl? But aside from that, even someone like you would not be able to tank a thing like that, right?」

Apparently, even the best Professional Gamer in the whole of the United States is not able to deal on her own with a problem of this caliber. However, Pencilgon was sure that given enough time, she would be able to at least stall for time or find a temporary solution for a sudden challenge just like that.
