ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 483: Torima Inventory Part 1
The gimmick that I was talking about earlier is activated on the gravity floor under three distinct conditions.
The first condition is the manual destruction conducted by the Players.
The second condition is if the floor’s tiles were already destroyed from the very beginning.
And the third condition is the accidental destruction, the one which does not involve the player’s actions in any way.
And if I were to take a wild guess here, I would say that this whole “gravity rain” gimmick is being caused by either number two or number three. And if it was not for that forecast coming from the Brave Fish, we would have been most probably dead by now…… But now that we know more or less how this system seems to be operating, it can be said that instead of a death trap it can become quite the lethal weapon in our capable hands. We just have to learn how to utilize it the best we can.
Also, at the current moment my goal was quite simple here: thrash enough of those weak small fries in order to amass enough points to score some truly long-range and high-power weapons for the sake of the future exploits inside of this dungeon.
On the other hand, the gravity shifts are not so bad once you get used to them. Heck, even monkeys would be able to get it and utilize it properly with enough of an explanation. And it will allow us to reach the places that are potentially out of our reach at the current moment.
And once you get used to it, it basically becomes something of a second nature to you.

「Fuhahahahaha!!! What’s wrong, what’s wrong!? Come on, my friends! I know that you are afraid, but why are you running away from me!?」
Six gunshots were fired by me in the direction of the wall, and those shots managed to unleash a wave of “repulsive” force going from the left towards the right. As a result of that, the Techno Magi-Gels that were approaching our group got pulled in by the repulsive force, getting slammed into the wall at a high speed and becoming flattened like pancakes.
The gravity panels in here are about four meters wide, so it should only be natural that if you try to approach us mechanically we would be able to respond accordingly and move to the side, leading even more enemies into a trap. And if some of them happened to actually survive that, we can always hit the wall again to send the remaining enemies onto yet another trip.
「Well, it would be a real hassle to just half-ass a job like that, so how about this……? Saina! Araba! Let’s do this thing!」

All of a sudden, the gravity below our feet changes and the three of us get ejected high into the air with a force that seemed pretty much like something you would feel when you were doing a handstand.

「My oh my, I guess that a talk like that can wait for some other occasion, can’t it?」
The time should now be right for us to start coming down and hitting the ground. So I just have to aim my handgun towards the ground, wait for the appropriate timing and then…… Fire!
After pulling the trigger a small glow of light jumped out of the muzzle and instantly rushed through the sky wearing a glow of light that was somewhere between white and yellow in color.
And our bodies, which land and fall to the runaway of the gravity floor, decay as we see their momentum. That’s right, we don’t have rocket engines installed in our asses or anything else like that…… so no matter how high we all might jump, the gravity will eventually drag us all down towards the ground.

I need one hundred and fifty MP to be able to fire all ten bullets at once. And it is best to recover that amount in the rest area rather than having to burn through all of the potions I have left for a task so insignificant like this, only to burn through that MP right away almost right after recovering it.
The Golden Crystal Scorpion Battle Dress does not accumulate magical power without the light of the moon, and the Lapistella Cloak cannot be utilized properly in those circumstances, as unfortunate as it may sound.
However, I have this thing with me, and it will work here just fine! The Longing Blade Esca-Valach! For the outrageous price of cutting its durability in half, it has now gained the new ability of actually being able to charge the user’s magical power! It’s the perfect tool for the job at hand!

For you see, if I try to smack the handle of the gun with the hilt of my sword just a little bit, there would be a string of light that would be generated by the sword and then it would travel all the way towards the gun, filling it with magical power.
This sword, which also has the feat of helping me to kill the giant centipedes, accumulates magical power but does not have the function of releasing it as magic by itself. Therefore, it’s not classified as a magic sword…… I don’t really understand it, but there is no problem as long as you know that you can save and return MP to other things when you desire to do so.
「Six shots, huh……? So, it looks like one hundred MP is the maximum that this sword is capable of holding at once, huh?」
But alright! Time to go for one more round of killing mobs!
