ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 505: Star Performer Enters the Stage Part 1
In preparation for their period of hibernation, squirrels stack up on food in advance.
When they find their favorite bones, dogs go out to bury them in the ground just so that they think that it is safe from everyone else.
And now we get back to that blank period of time right before Dust destroyed the TV-Head and got destroyed by the Cursed Prison. It was sort of a free-time period when I could do whatever the hell I wanted because Amelia Sullivan was taking her sweet time to power herself up. And now it was all going to connect with my current situation.
Speaking of luxury, I was really hoping that I could have taken out that Cursed Prison with my Twinkle Pixie with all the resources that were available to me, but alas, it was not to be. Which is a shame, but I guess that there is nothing that I can do about it right now. So best not to cry over a spilt milk.
But Twinkle Pixy ended up dying in Cursed Prison after having dealt more than enough damage to her opponent. So I say that even though she ended up dead, she managed to do her job spectacularly well. Now it was just a matter of spawning and understanding where my opponent is located.
「Now then…… It’s time for the star to enter the show!」
When it comes to the Cursed Prison’s battle style, it can be roughly divided into two different categories. Amelia Sullivan uses various equipment she obtained from her enemies in order to enhance her own performance, so for today I am going to show her how that second type of Cursed Prison players chooses to deal with things. And it is precisely because of that that I managed to gather a careful selection of top quality materials ––––––
The way I chose the materials clarified the battle style that I was going to adapt in a moment, which was more or less a complete balls-to-the-wall kind of a character…… Or maybe I should just call it a muscle brain? I have no idea if it’s going to be super good or super bad in here, but I guess that we are going to see once the fight breaks out. It will be all or nothing then.
「But trying to make things too real might also not be the best thing to do here……」
Thinking about it logically, the only one that needed to be taken down as soon as possible was the Ms. Play Display, or the TV-Head because of her ability to hack into the surveillance cameras all around the city. But once she’s been taken care off, I could do whatever the hell I wanted without actually having to worry about anything…… But I guess that I allowed myself to be carried away by the tension too much here. But now it should all be over.
「Ahh, the bank’s vault, the safest place in the entire city when you need to deposit something for safekeeping……」
Opening the vault’s heavy duty door with the immense power of Cursed Prison, the inside of it unveiled the full heritage that Dust managed to leave behind. And this heritage was going to make my Cursed Prison pretty much complete.
It was once a tool that was created by humans, and it was originally meant to be part of the machine army controlled by the Mechanitian, but right now it’s just…… Dust managed to find it and destroy it before it had a chance to go online, and after its defeat he examined it closely, picking only the parts that would turn out to be the most necessary of them all. And then he just carried it all with him inside of this bank and deposited it inside of this very vault.
「Fufufu…… Now, now. Don’t peek, alright? You’re going to ruin the surprise.」
This city has many eyes and ears all over the place, and you never know form where someone might be watching or listening in. So in order to avoid having one such random element get a jump start on me, I carefully close the door to the vault behind me and start getting ready for the grand finale. Just like a starlet preparing for the important show.

When it comes to the Professional Gamer known as Amelia Sullivan, video games are her job as well as a hobby.
In view of both of those aspects, Amelia Sullivan dedicated her entire life in order to make this work, betting on the concept of “winning” in order to support herself and being able to continue to do what she loved so much. At the same time, the presence of Silvia Goldberg was a huge factor in her life, a driving force that was constantly pushing her forward.
North America’s Number One Professional Gamer, and someone who continues to be placed at the absolute top worldwide…… This is the kind of a person that Silvia Goldberg is. This is the kind of person that Amelia Sullivan was losing to. That is why it was Amelia Sullivan’s goal to one day be able to bring down Silvia’s Meetias with the power of her own Cursed Prison, the Black Star finally defeating the White Meteor…… And then the time of that one GGC came, and through the live video feed she witnessed Uomi Kei stealing the victory away from Silvia, something that could have easily been prevented under any normal circumstances.
Needless to say, it could be say without a shadow of a doubt that the main reason that Uomi Kei managed to win against Silvia Goldberg was not because of his own abilities, but because Silvia was greatly unsatisfied with the results of her previous match, and that dissatisfaction ended up hindering her drive and performance. Of course, the fact remains that Silvia won that previous match, however, it was not a perfect victory for her. It was actually a long and hard battle, one in which she had to employ everything she had in herself as a Professional Gamer for her to win. And to push Silvia Goldberg so far, it was something that not even Uomi Kei was able to do. It was only something that this one “person” managed to do.

There is hardly anyone who can best it when it comes to the top players in the United States, because of which its position is always pretty much a given. Plus there are also a number of official matches played as that particular character…… And if there was ever someone who would be able to best it, it is only a given that it is going to be Real World Meetias in the hands of Silvia Goldberg.
That is exactly why people started to call Amelia Sullivan the Real World Cursed Prison. Because everyone believed that if there was ever someone who would be able to best Silvia Goldberg, it would certainly be her. The only one capable of beating Real Life Meetias would be Real Life Cursed Prison.
However, on that one particular summer day everything has changed. A new and previously unknown player entered the stage and his performance made everyone ask themselves that particular question: “What is even a real life Cursed Prison?”
He was greedy. He was arrogant. He behaved as if he had the power to penetrate not only his opponent’s defenses, but also their minds as well. It was precisely because of those traits that people started to change their minds. They began to think that this newcomer was worth the title of Real Life Cursed Prison way better than Amelia Sullivan was.
But at the same time, Amelia Sullivan has reached a certain conclusion after having reviewed the match between Silvia Goldberg versus No Face over and over again.
Apparently, No Face is the same type of gamer that Silvia Goldberg is. He is that kind of a player whose skills are directly connected to the tension he is being currently subjected to. And it’s that particular quirk that allowed him to push Silvia Goldberg so far.
Or was there even something like the minimum requirements that were needed for one to be called the Real Life Cursed Prison? Amelia Sullivan has been asking herself that question over and over again inside of her heart, the same way she’s been asking herself what is it that can be done for her to finally be able to beat Silvia Goldberg in her own game?
–––––– Even if No Face was the true Real Life Cursed Prison, was Amelia Sullivan inferior to him in any sort of way? No, that’s not it. So she had everything that was needed for her to become the true Real Life Cursed Prison.
–––––– Truth to be told, Amelia Sullivan believed that the way she was handling her Cursed Prison was way better than that No Face’s guy.
