After the Mercenary says that, the gathered people raise a loud cheer over the comms. So loud, in fact, that my ears hurt a little bit there for a second. And I must say, that’s a mighty good prize that they are willing to throw our way. When it comes to Free To Play players, the best that we can get under our belt are Megaton Grade spaceships. They are worth about thirty thousand yen. Next is the Gigaton Grade ship, and then the Terraton Grade ship, which is basically a heavy armored battleship of a spaceship, packing quite a heavy punch and carrying a good amount of survivability, being worth at least one hundred thousand yen or even more. So it was only natural that with a prize like that one being on the line here, everyone would feel motivated to win.

WOOSH! Apparently Mister Mercenary must have tapped something on his screen over the comms, for the information about four players was displayed on my monitor as well.

After the Mercenary says that, some of the people present start talking amongst themselves in either hushed voices or so loud that you can hear them quite clearly. So loud and so clear that you might think that they were actually right next to you.
「Whoa, that’s a big name right there…… Not to mention that it is way too freaking long……」
「The President of the Akoya Foods, currently located in Grand Scrims, founded by the family……」

The Gigaton-class space battleship is substantially under the threshold of thirty thousand yen. Unlike the Whale Players who can prepare for battle just by throwing money onto the game, if you lose to the Free To Play player you can only blame yourself for all the money that you have lost that way. And now it seems that it’s been decided that the Gigaton Grade ship owners are only going to be a liability here. But yeah, if I were to lose a ship like that as a free to play, I would have been livid for certain.
「Not to mention that this is also a Megaton Grade of a bomb no less…… No, let’s stop making things way bigger than they are in reality. It’s just a mere gunball, through and through.」
A bullet that is once fired will no longer return to the gun that it was fired from. So this means that the best way to actually take your enemy out directly. That way we are all more or less equal and disposable.

Just like a president of a certain home appliances manufacturer…… But anyways, even though the battle of the mercenary and the Whale Player was still raging, my thought processes were already starting to venture somewhere else that was not here at all……
