We managed to end the exploration for the day with the Boss battle against the Floor Boss of the twenty-fourth floor, but tomorrow Roxanne is probably going to insist on fighting the Floor Boss of the twenty-fifth floor. Roxanne must be really fired up for it, and I’m afraid that no amount of words from me or Sherry is going to change that.
Can I still call that being reliable?
After finishing the exploration of the Labyrinth for the day we headed back home and had Miria’s special fatty tuna and pork cutlet for dinner. After all, because Miria would definitely want to hog the fatty tuna all for herself, I fried some pork cutlet as well.
After all, from now on the days should be getting hotter and hotter, so now might be our last chance to eat some fried food before making is is going to become unbearable.
「So this is Fatty Tuna? It’s as delicious as I expected.」

It tastes like miso cutlet, except that I didn’t use miso. It’s probably due to the fish sauce that made it tase like something similar.
「Miria, can I have just the broth?」

When I take some broth out of the plate with the dish after it circled from Miria to Vesta once, Roxanne shows interest in it as well. Although I am going to do it, this dish is like a B-grade gourmet one, which means that normally I wouldn’t recommend doing something like that.
Sherry seems to be content with the lemon juice.
「Hee, may I have some broth, too?」
「Eat Fatty Tuna as well, desu.」
When Vesta asks for some broth, Miria presents her with the plate with the dish. Once again, I don’t recommend doing that.
「Yes, thank you.」
「Big Sister, desu.」
Is she looking out for Vesta as her Older Sister? Well certainly I don’t mean to refrain you guys from eating whatever you like or anything. The combo of Fatty Tuna broth and pork cutlet is a surprising new discovery though, so we should have it again sometime.
From the next day onwards, Roxanne’s onslaught continued.
There was no place left for disputes or strategies. There was only attacking.
She was probably thinking that climbing up with a pace of one floor per day would be a simple matter, but let me tell you, it was anything but simple.
Even though monsters from the twenty-third floor to the thirty-third floor are one group, if you go one floor higher, the monsters will definitely become stronger. Now imagine repeating that every single day.
Even if we did that, it’s not like our levels would be increasing every single day as well. If we keep that up, we’re definitely going to hit up a wall somewhere along the way, so I have to look out for that, even more so since I obviously cannot count on Roxanne in that regard.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to see such danger properly, but let’s hope that I’ll be able to.
I can’t trust her. I shouldn’t trust her. I need to make a firm decision. The only person whom I can trust in that regard is Sherry. Just Sherry.
「The fighting took us a lot of time, but I cannot say that any of them were particularly tough. At this level, I think it would be okay for us to go towards the Boss battle with the Floor Boss of the twenty-sixth floor.」
「I see.」
