A decent story; one I personally enjoy. It’s not exactly a story for adults (maturity of the writing: bad people are a little too overtly bad and good behavior is a little too naive), but enough thought has been put into it that nothing comes across as so stupid it breaks my suspension of disbelief.

With that said, the narration sometimes switches between a character and third person omniscient in the middle of a scene, which is quite amateur and somewhat off-putting. This is consistent with some of the other faults of repeating facts for impact in very obvious ways that pull one out of the story a bit.

Still, it’s an okay read.
